Stephen Hawking, modern cosmology’s brightest star, dies aged 76

Stephen Hawking, the brightest star in the firmament of science, whose insights shaped modern cosmology and inspired global audiences in the millions, has died aged 76. His family released a statement in the early hours of Wednesday morning confirming his death at his home in Cambridge. Hawking’s children, Lucy, Robert and Tim said in a statement: “We are deeply saddened that our beloved father passed away today.“He was a great scientist and an extraordinary man whose work and legacy will live on for many years. His courage and persistence with his brilliance and humour inspired people across the world.” (Source)

Alguien que me explique qué es la distancia, si anoche él estuvo en mis sueños y hoy lo traigo en las pestañas. Que me expliquen de qué está hecha porque siento la piel erizada y el alma a punto de lloviznar con tan sólo saber que allá dónde existe me quiere. Alguien, el que sea, me explique qué es la distancia si cada vez que digo su nombre, algo adentro de mí se enciende, si los labios me saben a magia y a sur. Cada vez que me dice te quiero nos acercamos lo suficiente. Alguien que me diga, por qué la distancia no es lejanía o indiferencia, por qué siempre es definida por cuántos océanos hay, o por cuántas millas separan los cuerpos. Si yo sé que ni las montañas, ni las latitudes detienen al amor.
