Don't get up gentlemen, I'm only passing through.
I'm locked in tight, I'm out of range.
I used to care, but things have changed.
I've noticed this song keeps appearing on my blog. Of all the first Bobby songs I heard, it's maybe the one I understand best on every level.
Bob Dylan · Another Self Portrait (1969-1971): The Bootleg Series, Vol. 10 [Deluxe Edition] · Song · 2013
Alberta, don't you treat me unkind
Oh my heart is so sad
'Cause I want you so bad
Alberta, don't you treat me unkind.
Alberta, let your hair hang low I'll give you more gold Than your apron can hold If you'll only let your hair hang low.

Another Bob....
I hope he saves some of that warmth for winter in Europe.Please.
Seeing him without the hoodie 🦩🦩🦩
It sounds too good to be true.
Bob Dylan, The Band · The Basement Tapes Complete: The Bootleg Series, Vol. 11 (Deluxe Edition) · Song · 1967
I ain't tryin′ to mess, just save your time But it's your life, it′s not mine Baby, won't you be my baby?

"Why are they happy?" Thomas whispered.
"Because they have no reason not to be," said Mr. New World."
I truly wish Bob were writing these stories. The AI is basing itself, perhaps guided by Bob's instructions, on classic human stories: dreams, loneliness, old age, the end of life, the choice between pleasurable hell and honest reality.
I can't say I don't already know these stories.
Perhaps we've only been telling the same stories for centuries, over and over again, only allowing for slight variations.
One favor is repaid with another. One debt creates another.
This story has brought back memories of Ende's more sinister tales, the stories of Hamelin, humanity's trope of hall of mirrors. And many more stories of characters through mirrors and doors, guided by seductive magicians.
But, Mr. Greer, you're forgetting something. In my village, there's a legend very similar to this one, though with a much more sinister ending. But the moral was the same: don't lose yourself in the mirror, or its fragments will shatter you.
Perhaps Mr. Newworld is Bob himself, guiding us through treacherous doors. Or perhaps he is simply the oldest thought in the world, projected onto the babbler.
Thank you, Mr. Greer, supreme puppeteer.
