bellalestrange:
She could tell that her words burned him to the core, which is exactly what she wanted. The thing about his, on the other hand, was that she didn’t believe them. They didn’t settle into her and create weakness, she knew what she was destined for and she had full control of that. However she did know that somewhere, deep down, Rodolphus was afraid that her words were true, and she used that fear a weapon more often that she ought too. It was, however, extremely effective. Bellatrix’s eyes followed him as he approached her, her visible anger dissipating as she watched him, like a panther readying itself to pounce. With his face just inches away from hers, her eyes narrowed on his before she leaned up and captured his mouth with hers, her lips hard and commanding. She inhaled sharply, reaching back to his hair, her body closing the gap against his. With her fingers laced tight in his hair she pulled away as hard as they had collided, yanking his head back a bit so that he could see her face. “You and I,” She breathed out in a low rasp, “together.” Her eyes searched his as her mind took off, “That’s the only way we can get what we deserve.” She released him with that thought, her voice very serious. “If you try to do this on your own, you will fail. If I do it, I will have the support but it will take much longer and the cause will suffer.” Bellatrix grabbed either side of his jacket, pulling at him, “Together we can be everything the Dark Lord needs. We can be the ones he trusts over everyone else. Us, Rodolphus, doesn’t the idea make you quiver with desire?”
He knew that look in her eye–the hunger, the need to devour everything in her path to get to whatever goal she’d set before her. He anticipated her next move before she made it, but still found himself sucking in a breath of surprise as her lips made contact with his. It amazed him the way she ignited his body. In an instant, a fire had erupted in his chest and a different sort of eagerness had replaced his rage. He wanted to force her backwards, take command from her, but he knew better. She was in a craze–one he had put her in–and there was no bringing her down from it, no taking back control. Letting her yank him by the hair, he stared into her dark eyes as she spoke. She’d given this speech before, and in an odd way it comforted him. She was aware of the fact that she needed him, and this added security to their marriage that might otherwise not be there. And she considered him an ally, a partner in their quest to greatness, and it was easy to see by the look in her eyes that having Bellatrix at his side would surely help him achieve it. The desire that bloomed from their kiss grew as she spoke, his chest rising as she grabbed him by the jacket once more. A grin crawling across his lips, he stared into her wild expression and matched it with his own. Grabbing her cloak in his hands, Rodolphus pulled Bellatrix against him and growled. “I’m bursting with desire.” Locking his eyes on her lips, he crushed his mouth against hers, tugging her body flush against his own while leaning back against the bookshelf behind him. Eagerness overwhelmed him as he shoved her cloak from her shoulders, uncaring as it felt to the floor, his hands immediately roaming her body for how to undress her further.
Despite how much she loathed him, and she’d deny it to her grave, there was something about having a partner that understood her desires on the level that he did. In fact, there was something so deeply chemical about their bond that she couldn’t keep her body from pressing into his as he pulled her to him. She watched his eyes move up her body and back down, her breathing deep and measured. A sharp breath escape her as he thrust her cloak off her, his hands searching her body and far more demanding than they had been before. The adrenaline that had been fueling her anger had been replaced by a choking desire to ravage him. As he searched her body for access, she pulled his jacket from his shoulders and pulling at the collar of his shirt. Pulling at him, she felt the top button give way, falling to the ground. “Oh, how unfortunate.” She crowed before running her hand down the opening of his shirt, forcing all of the buttons from their stitching.
