Just curious but do you think the way Bellamy was treated at the end of the show has to do with what happened with Bob and his ex Aryn? That cheating scandal came out before we got deep into the final season and I remember a lot of the cast posted on Twitter in support of Aryn, which makes me think Jason was in support of her too and took it out on his character. Thoughts?

this is one of the dumbest things ever. this man straight up said its a happy ending that the human race is dead and over once the main characters die and its totally cool though bc the rest of humanity “joined a universal consciousness” for real wtf were they smoking in that writers room

You know what? I'm actually glad that we didn't get the original version of season 7, I have a feeling it would have been better than the dumpster fire in a toxic waste dump that we had to sit through this year, HOWEVER it did reveal to us what kind of person jroth is and I'm glad I know that. Because I would never want to put more money and admiration into the pockets of that kind of a man. I would rather never get canon Bellarke than have the cast suffer in silence because nobody knew the true extent to which they suffered for years with a clearly narcissistic, cruel, and needlessly vindictive showrunner.

So like, Bellamy really did get killed for absolutely NOTHING and he was RIGHT the ENTIRE TIME. That ending would have been a whole lot more satisfying if Bellamy had been there for it. It’s not even a Bellamy/Clarke thing at this point, it’s the fact that JRoth found it reasonable to kill Bellamy off in such an awful way because he and Bob didn’t get along 100% of the time and DID NOT give Bob, and Bellamy, the ending both the actor and character deserved for YEARS of work and dedication to the show, cast and crew.

I am very thankful that even though we never got bellarke, we got to see the chemistry between Eliza and Bob grow into true love.

I think the misinterpreted tweet was about Bellarke but can also be applied to Bellamy. You can literally see a difference in the way Bob and Eliza portrayed Bellarke this season and I think it’s because they were officially told Bellarke not only wasn’t going to be canon but that their relationship would be ruined. Either way, this season sucked ass and I’m going to pretend that s7 as a whole just didn’t happen.

It could have been both. But we do know Bob MEANT it.
