I remember watching the very first episode of TWD when it first aired. My youngest was 2 years old. We'd hurry to get him settled in bed at night so we could watch our favorite show uninterrupted.

How is it possible that I've raised an entire HUMAN BEING who is about to become an ADULT, and the EPs and writers of TWD and TWDD haven't been able to successfully bring Caryl, the most popular "couple" on the show, together in the same span of time?

Didn't Norman say he thought the S2 finale of TWDDD was the best episode in TWD universe (I'm sure I'm paraphrasing, but it's about right)?

That's exactly what is happening. Why single Melissa out during an interview and lay the lack of Caryl canon on her doorstep when Norman, as an EP as well, could also pitch the relationship to become canon. If Norman wanted it to happen during TWDDD, it would happen. Period.

First we had the "Leah" bs on the OG series, now a random kiss with a woman who manipulated him to help protect her nephew (no shame in her game, I get it why she did it). So, again, if Norman the EP wanted to finally see his character's relationship with Carol progress to the next level, he would've already made it happen. The truth is neither Norman, nor Zabel, nor Gimple are interested in that happening.

But, yes, let's mention Melissa as the one who could bring it up and make it happen if SHE wanted it to become reality.
