Set Apart This Dream

This blog sets the dreams I have for my life apart from anything else I have going on. You will see the different aspects of life that make my heart the warmest. This blog, essentially, is for me. But I do hope you'll see the dreams I have, or that this blog can make your heart warm and happy for a moment. Although, I try to focus my thoughts on the God of love above, I have days where this blog will look awfully depressing, and sometimes my deepest thoughts and feelings are expressed here. This is so nice! And this is actually a place in Costa Rica. A couple decided to start a refuge for stray dogs and now own around 700-900 doggies. It’s not state supported. They live on donations. Most are never adopted but live a happy life until their last day. Each of them have a house, bed or a couch to sleep in and have acres and acres of land to explore everyday.

Their project is called Territorio de Zaguates. You can google them or search for them on Facebook to help them out.

Tonight I pray for the woman who just wants to be appreciated. She does so much for others, and while she doesn't want anything in return, a simple thank you would be nice. Or perhaps even a kind word or note in the mail would help her feel loved. If not, she might stop. Or burn out. Or become resentful. None of which she wants because she wants to keep pouring her heart out, but right now, her heart hurts, and she feels drained. Fill her, Lord. Send people to pour back into her what she has unselfishly and sometimes, at a cost, poured out to others. Give her the extra boost she needs to keep doing for others as she would want to be done for her.
