BENS!! i forgot how fun drawing/designing pastas can be,,, i’m re obsessing

ramble down here btws,, //death mentions since he is a ghost

ok so ben is an old fave and i have thoughts. this first new hc design isn’t that remarkable except for the fact that instead of trying to make ben look like a dark/‘corrupted’ link, i tried to draw him like a kid in a hand-stitched link costume.

i will be drawing/writing(?) ben as a kid btw, specifically a ghostly 12 year old kid whose hobbies include trying to stress his cohabitants into early retirement.

the ben fullbody on the left is a slightly more corporeal form that he uses when out in the open and interacting with people in person. while still ghostly (like. swipe at him and your hand will go straight through him kinda ghostly) it’s more solid and has more of his features that he possessed before his death. he floats!! that’s his main mode of transportation in the open. he floats.

the one on the right is one that you’d see onscreen! he’s quite literally ‘rendered’ differently giving his victims that patented dread associated with ben. uncanny valley yk

when scared or upset his pupils vanish leaving you with those empty dark scleras. this doesn’t happen often though!

anyways that’s all for now!! an anon asked me to draw hoodie so i’m off to go do that :)

eren yeager relationship headcanons

- he absolutely MELTS into your hands whenever you hold him, to him it feels like when you’re with him he can’t hear or see anything else around him

- tries to act all cool when you’re around, hyping himself up and stuff like that (what a loser 🙄)

- always keeps an eye out for you during missions and if he notices you’re not in his field of vision he has a mini heart attack, but he trusts you to keep yourself alive

- turns into an actual baby when you’re alone, he needs to be touching you at all times

- has moments when he switches out of his normal silly demeanor and starts quietly pondering on how scared he is that due to his powers he’ll lose control and hurt you

- unrelated but i think he’d have bad hearing, so you’d have to repeat yourself several times for him to understand what you said. sometimes you just guve up on him and he gets all desperate bc he wants to know what you said 🤣

- he’s good with kids, not in the sense that he plays with them, he actually kind of ignores them. but kids are just naturally drawn to him and they ask him all sorts of question because he gives simple yet clever answers

- (modern au) would send you those gifs that are like “🩵🦋✨ Happy Thursday ✨🦋🩵” cause he thinks its the funniest thing ever

- even before you’re together, everyone can tell that he likes you. maybe it’s the way that he stops talking in group gatherings to stare at you like you’re the best thing in the world (to him you are)

operator syndrome headcanons

(heavily inspired by the marble hornets web series)

- mostly acquired at very early ages, ranging from 3-6, although it can be acquired in later ages if the person has extended contact with another person with the syndrome

- children with the syndrome might be overly paranoid of “a man” watching them, have difficulty socializing, and might have nervous tics like biting their nails or fidgeting with their fingers

- on the other hand, symtoms in adults might look like being overly avoidant of cameras and refuse to appear in photos, confusion due to memory loss, and in extreme cases, psychosis

- the symptoms are calmed by being in areas not altered by humans (preferably with water): creeks, forests, lakes…

- the symptoms may worsen if a person with the disorder comes in contact with another person with the disorder, no matter the severity

- the person might start seeing the shadow of a man out the corner of their eye around 6 months after they contracted the disorder

- persons with the disorder will always hear a faint static noise in their ear, even while theyre asleep, the noise changes pitch every 6 hours or so

- their dreams include: them as children with the operator lurking behind, them being chased through a never-ending forest or a robotic voice repeating the words “return to the ark”

- he doesn’t hate his brother, but he also can’t bring himself to forgive him. is wants to kill him not for revenge, but so no other kid has to suffer how he did

- probably the sweetest out of all the creeps, (can you guys tell he’s my favorite?) he’ll lend you his coat if you’re cold and give you some advice if you vent to him

- talking about venting, he’s suprisingly good at comforting, but i mean, how suprising is it really? older brother habits die hard

- his favorite movie is big daddy, makes him nostalgic remembering watching it with his family

- he’s good friends with eyeless jack, he’s a nice break from the usual handful that are the other residents. they hang out together at jack’s inffirmary and just talk about life and whatever comes to mind

- he’s the type of guy to listen to his ipod laying in bed and just staring at the ceiling and letting his thoughts run wild

- if any children get brought into the manor he’ll feel the need to look out for them, he’d be like an older brother figure to the kid (teehee love him)
