My new dresses from Eat Me Ink Me and Atelier Pierrot.
Five years ago I fit into Juliette et Justine dresses, as you can see. Today I'm happy if I can fit into an Innocent World dress with shirring. I love Lolita fashion. But this self awareness around my own body is a bitter aftertaste. When I look at this photo, I remember I hesitated to post this because... I thought I looked fat. Huge. Like a blimp. Some things just mess with my head and still do. Slowly but surely I have come to terms with the fact that a body that changes with age is a healthy body. From now on I refuse to adapt my body to fit my clothing. Clothing is made to adapt to fit my body.
Trying out a new hairstyle. Two braids in a knot with a decoration on top and a decoration under.
It all started when...
... I saw a photo of two gothic lolitas. Something just clicked. There was elegance and playfulness at the same time in the gothic lolita fashion style. My impression of lolita fashion overall was this kind of "eff off" attitude, like the lolitas were truly indulging themselves purely for their own interest. This was the perfect blend for me. That's what I go for still to this day. I want to be elegant and playful while feeling empowered and confident.
2017: wardrobe post, part 2 - darker and gothic
My second part of my wardrobe is the one I feel most interested in broadening out.
I used to dress more towards old school classic but I just don’t feel as comfortable in it nowadays. Probably also because I’ve gained a lot of weight the past years due to medicine and health issues, I’ve grown more self conscious and don’t want to attract unnecessary attention. Contradictory to the style, right?
Once again I’ve decided to do some flatlays. You may notice that I haven’t coordinated these as much with socks or other embellishments. I strive to have my darker/gothic wardrobe to be somewhat modest, “less is more”. I also prefer to wear solid tights or discreetly patterned tights with all these pieces.
Thank you for looking and reading.💕

The bat wing shapes sailor collar is what I love the most with this dress. And it doesn’t even show in these photos. This dress is perfect in summertime, light and airy. - JSK: Rouge Aerie
The blouse has shimmery gold glitter specks in the fabric which ties together with the print very well. - Blouse: Lady Sloth / OP: Atelier Pierrot / Hat: Triple Fortune / Brooch: Miss Danger / Necklace: second hand
This dress is such an underrated dress. All the pintucks and the frills, the heavy fabric. With the lace cape I have tried to channel myself as a Black Riding Hood. With the bonnet, the look is more old school goth. - Cape, necklaces: offbrand / Bonnet: Innocent World / JSK: Metamorphose
When I’m not pairing this dress with a white blouse I pair it with either a blue or red blouse/cutsew. - Blouse: Alice and the Pirates / JSK: Lady Sloth / Necklace: Mossmarchen
For a dress this embellished I try to keep the rest of the ensemble as low key as possible. - Blouse: offbrand / JSK: Haenuli / Hat: second hand / Ring: Mossmarchen
At first I didn’t think much of this print, gold fishes are cute but meh. Then I saw it in person and was immediately falling in love with it. The matching headbow is actually in the black/white colorway rather than the black/blue - because miss Fumiko Kawamura herself said that the black/white matched my hair and complexion better. I’m a sucker like that. For a more extravagant look I love to wear a more dramatic headpiece. - Bolero: Lady Sloth / JSK, headbow: Enchantlic Enchantilly / Headpiece: Alchimia
The fabric of this dress has an unusual texture: it is chiffon with woven dots in it and on top of that the fabric has little blue roses scattered all over it. - Cutsew: Angelic Pretty / JSK: Innocent World / Hat: Victorian Maiden (interchangeable ribbons) / Brooch: offbrand
I really do like to wear cardigans over my dresses, sometimes the weather is better for it and sometimes the overall look feels less chunky. - Cardigan: Emily Temple Cute / JSK: Lady Sloth / Hat: offbrand
The color combination of silvery grey, lavender and dusty pink in this pattern makes me feel a little melancholic even though it is a bit more towards the sweet side. - Cutsew: DearV / JSK, hair ties: Baby the Stars Shine Bright / Necklace: Vivienne Westwood
I know what you are thinking by now. You are thinking “this girl really likes blues with her blacks”. Yes, this is true. - Cutsew: Angelic Pretty / JSK, hair combs: Baby the Stars Shine Bright
Brand coats for Swedish winter climate is as useful as a fur coat in the Sahara desert. I really want to be warm in winter time so I often opt for an offbrand coat for winter. - Coat: Hellbunny / Schoolbag: Metamorphose / Bag: Victorian Maiden
I have to be honest, this jacket is a tad too small for me. But I wear it mostly in spring and autumn so this is perfect either way, - Jacket, bag: Baby the Stars Shine Bright / Brooch: handmade (not by me)

2017: wardrobe post, part 1 - classic and the likes of it
I strive to have a versatile wardrobe. Versatile for me means that I want as many pieces as possible to cross-match with each other. That way I can easily adjust my style depending on my mood, the weather or what kind of impression I would like to make.
That is why I have chosen to present my wardrobe in some of my favourite ways of coordinations.

Brown and bordeaux together always wins my heart. They bring out each others depth, in a way. - Blouse: vintage / JSK+socks: Innocent World / Accessories: Innocent World, Tokimeki no Gabriel, Baby the Stars Shine Bright
I like the deep red blouse in this combination because the petals of the roses pop just a little bit extra. The deep red also brings a more mature romantic feeling to the outfit, helped by the brown bow brooch (which also doubles as a hair accessory). - Blouse: second hand / JSK: Metamorphose / Headband: Innocent World / Necklace: Li Paro / Socks and accessory: offbrand
You may not see it as clearly in this photo, but here I have picked up the stripes from the dress and repeated them in the striped headband of the hat. - OP: Metamorphose / Hat: Victorian Maiden (interchangeable ribbons) / Socks: Innocent World / Necklace: vintage
I must admit that I often prefer to match this JSK with the brown blouse in the first coordination photo. But lavender, dusty blue and antique white makes this an outfit with an airy feeling. - Blouse: second hand / JSK: Innocent World / Socks: Baby the Stars Shine Bright / Accessories: Tokimeki no Gabriel, offbrand
Slowly but surely I am getting used to wearing lots of white at once. Some say that mixing whites is a big no-no. I say it all depends on the whites. - Cutsew, JSK, socks: Innocent World / Hat: Victorian Maiden (interchangeable ribbons) / Brooch: Imperial Fiddlesticks
This print is so lovely, all the shades of muted colors. So many possibilities to match well. Here I have paired the skirt with a dusty pink blouse. - Blouse: offbrand / Skirt, tights: Violet Fane / Accessories: Voodooodolly, vintage
This print is not something I would have expected to like. But I really do, just because it is so silly. In this coordination I let the skirt do the talking. - Blouse, necklace: offbrand / Skirt: Haenuli / Socks: Metamorphose / Bag: Baby the Stars Shine Bright / Headband: Jane Marple
This OP is actually a very rich deep teal. I want to accentuate the details of the dress, all the ruffles and pintucks, so a tiny golden accent is all it needs to top it off. - OP: Physical Drop / Socks: Lolitabutiken.se / Headband: Innocent World / Accessory: Mossmarchen
Finally got a dream vintage hat for my favorite elodie doll outfit QwQ……
Glenna June Bellomy Anderson (1926 - 2008). When the cemetery sexton sold Glenna her stone, her request for the inscription on it was “I was… somebody.” He said the reason was that Glenna felt that many years after she died no one would probably remember her anyway. By having this inscription on her stone, people would see & remember it. Park Cemetery, Carthage, Missouri. (Source)

Harley is a gift from God.
This is why Harley is like my all time favorite!
Why did they leave out the best part of this scene?;
The character development of Harley is probably one of the better things DC has done with their characters.
That last line :((((
There is more:
The fact that she actually had a plausible reason for the muzzle makes this even better.
Harley is a blessing
I’m crying
Harley is trill as fuck.
7. Do you have a fashion role-model? What do you admire most about them? #52weeksoflolita
I used to have several, now I actually have to think hard and long to remember the names.
I remember a classic lolita in Japan who had a very discreet yaplog where she posted outfit shots regularly. Of course I can’t find her yaplog again and I can’t remember her nickname, this was years ago.
Grimoire girls were inspiring. I say were because I honestly don’t know if their styles are alive and kicking still. There was a romantic aura around them and how they mixed and matched not only colors but also materials.
Sachi has been a lolita model since, well, forever. Everything she touches seems to be tuned to that flair of lolita that I have a hard time describing with words. I recently saw her model Enchantlic Enchantilly and my heart still skips a beat when I see her.
