why is it that whenever i return to this blog, i immediately want to write sad stuff

                              SHAKY FOOTSTEPS   on snow  &&.  ice that was new against the trails,  insistent on staying to see him through to the end.  oh, should there have been an END !   he walks alone,  his arms empty where only hours before he had held greg’s warm body tight against his own.  he walks alone,  having said his farewells to beatrice before his fate had been REALIZED.  but he presses forward, approaching lorna as he considers her questions.  tries to reflect his own deliberate answers.

             &&.  would she  UNDERSTAND ?   would she know that this was more than a tug at his very core, more than his mere CHOICE ?  would she know that he had never been so certain in life ?  she needed to understand. someone had to.  so, he offered her his most brilliant smile,  a reassurance of his actions.  even though sorrow and an indescribable  pain  wracked through him  ;;  tainted his smile.

                                             an     immediate     feeling     of     remorse     begins     to     poison     her     veins ,          she     feels     weak .          lorna     had     no     control     of     the     situation     at     hand ,          but     she     wished     that     there     was     something     lorna     could ‘ ve     done .          she     knew     there     was     a     better     place     for     him     to     be          -----          where     greg     is .          this     place     is     deceiving ,          she     tells     herself .          but     was     it     about     its     surroundings     or     about     herself          ?
