Funniest shit just happened to me. I'm like... 70% sure that writing a fic about Simon Ironlung experiencing delusions made my own delusions flare up😭

God, I love making ocs that would be gay/trans if they merely weren't going through the horrors. Like, if they just had a BIT of peace and quiet then they could self-reflect and figure themselves out.

For example, I have an oc nicknamed Mendoza and he, if given the space to explore himself would realize she's actually genderqueer and would use he/she pronouns. He would call himself a son, but would want her partners to say "my girlfriend."

But dude, he's fleeing from his family's gang AND trying to figure out how to undo a curse a spirit put on his ancestors' bloodline centuries ago. Mendoza is too busy trying to free his soul and escape his brothers clutches to figure out that... hey, maybe he should confront the fact that he may like it when someone assumes he's a woman when he's in one of his many disguises.
