Does anyone remember Rico Constantino from the early 2000’s WWE/WWF? I have been extremely tempted to make a masc reader fic based around his gimmick.

I have two different ideas;

1.) Like Rico irl, you don’t identify as gay and never have found attraction to the same sex. It’s genuinely just a gimmick you had been conned into using and you absolutely hate it. You desperately want a way out and the queen of defiance herself, Rhea Ripley, offers to give you a helping hand.

2.) Unlike Rico, you do identify as queer. However despite the gimmick, you are nowhere near as flamboyant as you are made out to be. Backstage and outside of the ring, you are extremely quiet and keep to yourself. The gimmick often makes you feel completely humiliated which leads to you isolating yourself. One person finally approaches you and begins to talk with you, getting close to you over time. You both help each other realize things you never had known about yourselves. As time goes on, you both come to terms with your feelings for each other.

I’m not completely sure who to use for the second option. Cody, Punk, Randy, Knight, Seth are my current day options. As for past options Im thinking about Jeff Hardy, Shawn Michaels, or maybe baby Randy?

I need to know if I’m delusional or not bro😭
