My Fic Quotes Doc (not a Doc-)

Because everyone has a doc with good quotes they’ve heard before right? Right, exactly- (don’t judge me from where I got these quotes. I won’t be posting anything from nsfw explicit fics, graphic violence explicit fics and otherwise are fair game though)

Yo~! I'm uh... Bel? Sure, call me Bel!

I'm just making this post to pin it as an intro(belated it may be) to my blog! Cuz my lil profile blurb thing isn't really big enough? So, yeah this is the intro! ^w^

First my reason for the blog! (mission statement lol)

Well, everyone has had a moment where you read something that makes you laugh out loud right? or do a double take! or be like 'woah that's deep dude' or think 'that is some good wordplay' or snicker or gasp or cry or- well you get it right? Everyone!

and maybe you have a doc of 'em, these especially good quotes, witty quips and profound lines, good metaphors (or perhaps affronts to the alphebet that you can't help thinking about anyways)

but well, idk about you, but my quotes doc is kind just lines of lines of ao3 quotes, no chapters no titles, i'd be lucky if i can guess at the fandom if they don't mention names. But I would actually like to remember where they came from. And share my enthusiasm. Plus, sharing is caring (right?)! I gotta share these gems with SOMEBODY and goodness knows i'm not about to do it irl. so. this tumblr *awkward finger guns*.

Anyways the Rules! Slash basic guidelines? (currently)

quotes (currently) are title, author(ao3 name), chapter! with fandom tagged, and the main character(s) the quotes are about tagged if it's relevant.

I'm not going to be posting any fics that are marked Explicit due to (explicit) sexual content here*, but if they're explicit due to violence or similar, they'll probably be free game for me.

That being said! Fics can be updated (we love to see it) and might have change in rating or otherwise, new content that turns what was previously fine, into nsfw. Please let me know if that happens and you notice!

Depending, I might take it down or simply add a note (like, 'has R rated stuff past ch __' or something. maybe. I'm not totally sure yet we'll burn that bridge when we get to it)

ALSO! I might tag the author if they have the same profile name here as in ao3 (and, well, they've mention it in-fic I'm not about to search up every authors name that crosses my eyes, i'm not a stalker...)

In fact, please let me know if you don't want me to be posting any quotes of your fic at all! I'll delete them if you want, I'll make a note not to post quotes for any works you may have! at the end of the day, this is just a way for me to go all '!!awesome!!' about a fic, and spread appreciation and- idk, happyness and sparkles. if that makes the author unhappy then obvs i don't wanna do it.

(Just uh- pls be nice/polite about it? I'm not profiting off anything, I'm crediting, and if I have something of yours up when you've said you don't want it to be I promise I don't know about it/haven't seen it/etc. Like, I'll still delete it if you're mean but... pls don't?)

this is also why I won't be posting any quotes from fics that are archive-account users only, (the blue locks). unless i- idk, get the authors permission first (and can you imagine? 'hi I'd like to post some quotes of your fic on tumblr, could I?' feel like that would come off as shady/scammy and idk if i could get up the courage to ask >.<)
