His tongue lazily glided over the soft-serve, the cold sweetness unfurling in his mouth like a fleeting redemption. He gazed down at the pavement beneath his dangling feet, where the cone's melted remnants had splattered, tiny white constellations on the gray concrete. The sunset bathed the city in shades of fading embers, and his halo emitted a soft, flickering light over his shoulders, reminiscent of a secondhand sunrise.

“I am a fool.”

As he decided to bite into his ice cream, not the usual careful, methodical laps around the edges, but a sudden, almost fierce crunch straight through the rim of the waffle cone. The sound caught Power off guard, who had been in the midst of a rant about the absurdity of humans and their endless bureaucracy. As he heard this before, a thousand times before and had no interest in the conversation anymore.

“Then leave me here and go without me, I’m tired anyway, and I have my ice-cream to eat.”

Through her long rant considering to mention how unusual it was for humans and their morals, long enough to leave a mess of melting ice cream on her hands and a few ferocious bites on the cone here and there, the Angel's simple words cut her off. Whether it was a moment of honesty or something to simply shut her up and leave him at peace, it did seem to work just for a moment. Maybe this world has begun to affect Devils and Fiends in such different ways more than she could possibly comprehend. Despite the very things that can irritate her considering control, complexes of morality, hatred and forgiveness. Similar to Aki's ideals of him showing hatred for the Devils but choosing to work with them at times he needs to the most.

"Thou has admitted quite easily." Power quietly sat herself down with her own feet over the edge. She took a brief look down at the citizens strolling about, even noticing the tiny dots of his melted ice cream on the pavement below. The sunset was beautiful yet left them only but the fading light as minutes passed. Power observed her cone before she continued, "Pray tell, as Topknot and you have worked closely...he must have changed your views as well. The need to kill us...yet to work with us has slowly gotten stronger over the prior. I wonder when that feeling shall be tossed for vengence."

He’s gotten her love and her trust, there was nothing more that he wants from this life..other than to have a child with her one day. But for now he’s more than content with the time he has with her, the ability to be greedy with their time is something he does not take for granted, and so Yusuke submerges deeper into the warm water, thankfully his demon physiology would give him better resistance against the exposure to these scorching temperatures. He wanted to give her an experience no other man could have given her, so his face reached between her legs and his tongue would gently glide over her pink folds underwater.

"Yusuke?!" Mitsuri exclaimed out of shock once he brought his head beneath the warm waters closer to her. She watched him curious yet confused on his next move, realizing that he parted her legs enough to be between them and started to slip his tongue in to taste her entrance in this position. "Aah! W-wait, no! You can't you'll--" Her legs initially felt a little weak from that surprise, Mitsuri leaned herself against the rock behind her to rest and keep herself exposed for him. She had forgotten about his abilities as part demon, this had to be one of them to withstand this kind of heat! At this point, nothing but his name and moans kept sounding from Mitsuri as her hand petted his head approvingly. Even with this steaming heat and the properties of these waters have really gotten to her perhaps, the way it just feels even better or sexier to have this kind of experience with him.

Oh definitely, yes. At times there were threads I used to be so excited for replies that when I got them back I'd try to respond back by my phone or quickly get to my laptop. Granted I haven't really gotten into that mode again lately but I used to do that so much way back then lol. For the most part I just get excited to get the replies back and read them instantly.

⠀⠀⠀The cobalt hedgehog smirked, watching the other hedgehog stumbling up onto their feet and struggling to stand. He could tell she was putting on a brave face, but it really wasn't necessary. He wasn't the type to judge-- especially when he could see the hard work that she'd been putting into this technique of hers. Without saying a word, he scooped her up off of her feet and into his arms, carrying her in a princess-carry.

⠀⠀⠀"You should be proud a' the progress you've made, rather than thinkin' about how much you've stumbled on the way. You know how many things I ran into before I could actually control my speed?" Sonic let a chuckle out, shaking his head as he reminisced about his younger days. It was a little embarrassing to think about, but he understood that mistakes came with any skill. It was impossible to just be amazing at something immediately.

So much for keeping herself focused limping through that pain on the way to the base. She was already swept up in his arms, considering he wasn't going to take her word for it in the first place. At least it was a little bit easier on her body now that she was off her feet. Considering his words were true of her pushing herself to keep trying different things new with her abilities, Star still felt like she should have done more with herself. "You think so, huh? I guess...it's something. I wouldn't want to keep lagging behind with the resistance if I don't do enough." She found herself laughing a little at the idea of Sonic possibly making mistakes and losing control of his speed, bumping into whatever was in his way even. Perhaps he really wouldn't be the great hero he is today if there weren't any mishaps along the way.

As he offered to take her home, she was confused at first thinking he were to take her back to base--maybe she really was that injured enough to not bother practicing further on for the day. Well, at least to her own disappointment, the hero knew better to prioritize her safety. "...Right. It's not too far off from the city so it's nearby." Star then gave directions of her home to him and held on. "And thank you for your help, Sonic. I know I might seem like a bit of a bitch right now but I appreciate your support for me. It's just kind of hard for me not to try these risks if it's something I can help out with."

//I'm sorry for the major radiosilence here for like...a while? Lot of bullcrap been happening at my home:

the caretaker we found for our grandma has been in a high risk pregnancy so shes been gone and im back to look after her again, but then the caretaker said she was doing fine to come back (ultimately we didnt reply to confirm considering she had been back in the hospital again so she was unreliable for confirmation), my mom and grandma had a pretty big argument Monday and Saturday that I had to bring myself between them to stop it and pretty much bothered me for a while, my grandma has started being more reliable yet anal on me for things to do for her (even things I know SHE can do herself) so that has been messing with my own mental health and motivation to do much. I think I just ultimately lost respect for her or whatever I had left. It's another long rant, but it's badically my mom and I are the only people to look after her, sometimes my cousin. I don't know what I'm going to do when I start getting called in to work for World Cup and can't be here to help her get ready for treatments. And I think my physical health has started going in the gutter too; feeling sluggish and heavy/picking up weight and just not getting good sleep and my back getting sore. I can even tell with my room it's getting worse and just reflecting myself (even when I've been cleaning and fixing around my gran's room practically every week, and she STILL trashes it). And then one of the panels of our sliding back door has been cracked, and glass has fallen over time, so that's gonna be a lot to pay for. It's only the outside part of the panel, but who's to tell if the other happens too so they're both gonna be replaced. Gonna have to get a new phone soon, too, since the battery is slowly losing its length of a charge.

It's just been a whole lot going on that it made me lose motivation to even do drafts and queue them. Practically making me lazy and tired above all else. So I'm still around to chat, but I just will be pretty slow doing some threads or memes. Another side of things I've been reading different manga series like Witch hat Atelier, FMA, Alice in Borderland and Bleach. I also resumed my Marvel marathon and finished Age of Ultron! So far I've been having fun with the MCU and looking forward to watching more new and rewatching others.

Did he seem...flustered by her? It felt rare enough that he would feel this way compared to how she reacted to his teasing almost every time. It sort of felt like a little bit of a win for her to get him like this, too. Her heart fluttered once his hands rests upon her cheeks, making her focus onto him and bringing her in closer to begin a passionate kiss with her. Mitsuri sighed happily, her eyes closing and her arms around his back as she returned and fell deeply into the kiss. Oh how in love she was with him, her husband. She felt so eager her hands slid along his back and fingers pressed against skin to keep him close. She let out breaths between their kiss as she whispered, "your princess has learned to be a little more bold from you. I wasn't kidding on what I said...I do want you. Now, don't tell me you're getting a little nervous on me. Although it is cute."

The kiss he shared with her deepened with intensity and passion alike. Fingertips gently caress her wet cheek due to the spring as he leans forward to deepen the kiss they shared, pulling away only for the sake of breathing while listening to his beloved gloat over the fact that Yusuke had actually gotten a little flustered. Must have been one hell of a victory for her, and even he can admit that she deserved it. “Any man that wouldn’t get nervous off the thought of havin’ sex with ya clearly doesn’t appreciate how damn lucky he is. 

From there Yusuke’s lips makes little trails along her neck. “A woman like you intimidates the hell outta me. Yer cute voice-” One more kiss given to her. “Those pretty eyes-” Then another, moving lower. “Not t’ mention the perfect body for carryin’ our kids.” Now he slightly submerges half of face underwater to playfully suckle upon her breast.

If only he could say so in front of previous potential suitors she's had years before he came in her life. The times she never believed she was enough to be any man's bride let alone a lover. She never has felt those insecurities again for such a long time, it only made her more grateful to have friends and Yusuke now who truly adore her for who she is. She leaned her cheek against his gentle fingers for a little nuzzle, her smile never left once as she looked him over to see he was in fact, flustered. Maybe it was the steam of the hot springs at work to make things more loose feeling between them?

As Yusuke resumed his little tour of her body and listing off her attractiveness, the softness of his kisses to the skin of her neck and her lips, Mitsuri smiled warmly and little giggles from the ticklish feeling happened. "I still can't believe I could intimidate you like this? You just make me so happy, Yusuke. And I already feel so lucky to have you like this with me." As he moved further down to enjoy her chest that rested halfway in the water, a pleased moan sounded from the Hashira next as she watched him. "Mmm! Y-you didn't have to...to say..." She trailed off an a little whine replaced her words thinking on about his compliment. Perfect to have a child bearing body with curves and fullness to handle--she wasn't sure whether to feel shy or surprised by hearing this! She pulled him closer to her, her flustered warm face watching him closely appreciating her body half underwater as another pleased sigh escapes her.
