First book of pride finished!

solid 7/10 for me.

Extremely creative worldbuilding, classic witchy stuff and an intriguing world for a stand alone book. The main character is quite interesting as well. Very casual representation which is good, and paced well, though some parts felt rushed and there was a lot of fight scenes (I’m not partial to action lol)

the romance subplot was fine, nothing too amazing or terrible. I just wasn’t super invested, yk?
