A quick little doodle I did last night. I am in love with these two. I have been forever I swear. My sketchbook is full of sketches of them.(I perhaps ought to upload them......)

It’s been 10 yrs and I‘m still not over how his Devil Bringer glows for Kyrie.
“Did I ever tell you about the time I went backpacking across Western Europe?” Redesign of an old OC that turned into an illustration!

I’m home tonight with an aching back. I did this little doodle to keep from boredom.
I’m all finished with every episode of Disenchanted that’s on Netflix currently. I loved it and I wish there was more right now.
This is hilarious
Steps for “Starry Watcher”
And here is the video process of it!~ This time with some subtitles, I tried to come up with at least something remotely useful to say;;
Hmmm
Hmmm :)
I’ve looked the character over and gone over a couple things. Before I got into changing things, I rotated her a slight bit to make sure her figure was properly grounded and standing a little more upright.
I really do like the pose though, and the little lighter prop is really cool. What I recommend you doing is finding a way to make her blueish outline/aura a little more subtle. The stark colour and bulky outline make the piece a little disorienting to look at, and ultimately it can irritate the eyes. You could possibly pull down the saturation or opacity of it. Or even experiment with the colors.

Mod Seraph, chiming in:
I see you’ve used a lot of saturated colours in your piece and I’d suggest moving away from that. Using overly saturated colours throughout your work creates something that’s a bit too unnaturally bright and so a tad uncomfortable to look at - like looking into the sun. If you look around you, you’ll likely notice that few natural things are in bright, saturated colours. To reflect this aspect of reality in your art, it’s good to keep saturated colours to draw attention to a specific area. For example the dress, necklace pendant, blue outline, red outline, and eyes are all drawn with a saturated colour in your piece. I’d suggest maybe only making the eyes a bright colour. That way, you draw attention to your character’s eyes.
Here’s an example of what I mean by too much saturation being… too much: (Picture from a tutorial on colour picking and palettes by @sarahculture, which can be found here.)
Stefán Karl will always be number one.
These are some quick notes. If you’ve got questions about shading/colors lemme know I’ll edit the original post. When making a piece I always want to make sure the overal rendering is good. Eyes are drawn to contrast. When you pick your colors make sure there are enough pleasant hues, enough contrasting values, and ENOUGH SATURATED AND DESATURATED COLORS
When you choose to do high saturated flat colors make sure your shadows and lights are desaturated. If you make your lights warm make your shadows cool. For values always check if your piece still looks appealing under a black and white gradient filter. If not, bump up those values! If your piece looks fine in black and white but trash in color HANDLE YOUR SATURATION.
Quick reminder that a character and their actor are not the same.
It’s making me so sick to see so many people treating Stefan’s death as a joke. A death to a meme that people can laugh about. There’s fic prompts about Sportacus and the kids finding Robbie sick or dead, and I’ve been asked to draw Sportacus mourning Robbie’s death.
ROBBIE ROTTEN, your meme god, or whatever, is not dead. STEFAN KARL, his actor, a real human being, a husband, a father of four, is the one who is dead after putting up a tough fight against cancer.
His death is not a joke, and if you’re not going to be respectful, don’t post anything. Someone’s death is nothing to make jokes over. It’s nothing to rank up notes over. Those jokes are uncomfortable and tasteless.
Find some empathy, and think before you post.
I was heartbroken to hear that the beloved Stefan Karl Steffanson had passed away yesterday after a fierce battle with cancer. He was an amazing person and many of us felt we knew him as he was apart of our lives since we were children. So many banded together to support him in this time and his passing is truly tragic. He united so many of us through his humor and encouraging work in this world. Robbie Rotten was supposed to be the laziest man in Lazy Town. But Stefan Karl worked harder than most to make this world a better place. You deserve to rest peacefully, Robbie. We miss you already.

It’s 5am and I don’t think I can fall asleep again….i am immensely sad even though I knew it would happen eventually. I just - I just dont know what to do now. I don’t know. I don’t know what i could do .
@rextexx I know, I understand. I found out just before work yesterday and I felt like I couldn’t even smile again. I know I never met him personally, but he feels like someone I’ve known all my life. I’ve followed Stefan since I was a kid, and now it just feels so sad to know we’ve arrived at the inevitable.
Rest in peace, dear Stefan! Thank you so much for childhood, filled with laughter and teaching us that villains also can be adorable and lovable!
