just got some AMAZING news that i’m so so happy about. despite me saying we were moving, we didn’t actually have a place to go. we thought we did, and then they blindsided us and gave the place to someone else after telling us we were approved. but! we just learned we were ACTUALLY approved somewhere and are getting the keys to our new place tomorrow!

you all have helped me in so many different ways, including financially, so do not feel the need to do so, but if anyone wants to pitch in even just a dollar or two to help with moving costs, i would be immensely grateful 🙏

as always, if anyone would like me to do some writing for them in exchange for a donation, i’m always happy to do that so long as you’re willing to be patient with me because i may be a bit slow at it.

one thing you guys don’t know is that i don’t have regular access to my laptop. the outlets at our current place are loose and won’t hold the charger, so i can use it for the few hours the battery will last (it’s an ancient thing, like a decade old) and then i have to take it across the house to an outlet that’ll work and leave it there until i can get to it again. i’ll get two sessions in on a good day. that makes writing, editing, and posting a pain in the ass. i often sit with my phone propped on a pillow and a partially broken wireless keyboard in my lap to write, which honestly sucks.

at this new place, hopefully the outlets actually work, and i’ll be able to sit and work on writing for as long as i please whenever i want to! i’m not in a place to be working on writing at the moment for obvious reasons, but that should be different in a few weeks. and hopefully this break i’ve taken will lead to more creativity and inspiration. i’m very excited for it, and i hope i can come back swinging with a sea of writing for you guys.

anyway. that’s the update. i’ll let you guys know once we’re all settled in and i can start posting more often again <3

Me la pasé de poca madre el 24 y 25 en los conciertos de Ghost en Ciudad de México, dos fechas fueron jodidamente increíbles, me hizo falta la fecha del 23, pero primero está la salud del patrón. Honestamente, no es la primera vez que hago un viaje como este, y aprovecho tomar vacaciones de mi monotona vida laboral, pero Dios, en esta ocasión todo se sintió tan diferente, aproveché para ir a turistear todos los lugares posibles en 7 días, y sin duda, después de los conciertos y hacer amigos, ver la Basílica de nuestra señora de Guadalupe fue lo segundo mejor, no lo sé, estar ahí me hizo sentir tanta paz, y sólo pude dar gracias por tener las oportunidades de viajar y conocer un poco más mi propio país.

Si todo sale bien con el trámite de mi visa, quizás el siguiente ritual (¿y por qué no también un concierto de tøp?) sea ya por fin en el extranjero; mi mayor sueño. Dios plan, amén. 🙏
