@ben--dalton-blog
I really need to get out more apprently.
Yeah, you do.
So...
How badly did they trash the place? {His tone became serious, his face almost a mirror image. He may have matured with the war, but old habits die hard.}
Couple broken windows and shit, bunch of my blood on the carpets. Not too bad.
So...
Good question.
And shitty answer.
Why do I feel like I missed something big?
Because you did.
So...
When do we fucking kill ‘em all?
And what has brought on such drastic measures?
They crashed Brett's party and fucked everything up. {he rolled his eyes} it was pathetic, but I say we've been letting them exist peacefully for far too long anyway.
So...
When do we fucking kill 'em all?
Christmas is coming!!
{She blushed slightly.} How don’t you have girls doting after you already?
I do. They just don't interest me.
No, ma'am,
I did not play Tiny Tim in last year’s production of A Christmas Carol. [He smiled pleasantly, turning away muttering,] but I’ll be a living, breathing Tiny Tim if the Wolf Pack gets their Christmas wish.
They're not the only ones wishin' for that, trash.
Christmas.
Everything’s always so quiet during the Holidays. It’s killin’ me.
Shame you don't mean that literally.
Christmas is coming!!
You know, you say things that make you seem like a prince straight out of a fairytale.
I'm not, but I guess that works - you most certainly look like a princess.
Fun fact about Christmas;
Tons of people fall off ladders and dislocate things while decorating, and it makes the Hospital so much more busy.
The people in this town are so stupid. I swear, some of them might even be dumber than you.
Teenage Dream || Ben & Sage
She was still humming when she heard the knock at the door. Her face brightened as she checked herself one last time before she got up, putting the final pin in her hair. She knew it was ridiculous getting so flustered over something so simple but she couldn’t help herself. After not having any dates after getting out of a bad relationship with an even worse break up, this sort of thing was refreshing. Walking towards the door she threw a look at Lavender before composing herself and opening the door.
She smiled softly at Ben. “Hello.” She spoke quietly, not wanting to ruin the semi-peaceful aura that had seemed to have fallen around the town that night. She looked down at his hands seeing the roses that rested in his palm. “Those are beautiful.” She fiddled with a strand of her hair.
"Just like you," Ben said softly, wondering as he did just how utterly stupid someone had to be to fall for a line like that. Honestly. He smiled at her, tucking one rose behind her ear just like he had on the night of the ball and offered her the rest. He noticed as she did so that she really was quite beautiful: the brightness of her eyes, how her hair curled around and framed her face, sweet quality on that set her apart from Lavender, and how her whole face lit up when she smiled...
He blinked and shook of those thoughts, looking up past Sage to see Lavender looking at them. He smirked at her, and then looked back to Sage, holding his arm out to her. "Shall we, milady?"
Christmas is coming!!
And I have yet to start on any gifts for anybody. This is seriously going to bite me in the butt later isn’t it?
I'm sure just your smile would be enough of a present for anyone.
Glad ta be back ‘ome for ta holidays. Nothin’ like Tulsa durin’ Christmas, ‘M sure.
Doesn't really sound like this is your home. Fuckin' brit.
Damn,
Is it really that time of year again?
Indeed it is, Finn! It probably just seems strange to you 'cause you spent about half the fucking year being unconscious.
Teenage Dream || Ben & Sage
"See the tree, how big it’s grown…but friend it hasn’t been too long." She sang softly to herself as she slowly danced around the room to the tune of the song. She felt so carefree and happy in that moment.She ignored every teasing comment from her sister, always just giving her a smile before continuing with getting ready.
It had been a while since she had gone out, especially with someone so sweet. She smiled to herself as she dabbed a bit of perfume onto her wrists and checked her hair. She wanted the night to be perfect. She continued the song, twirling around her room as if dancing with a partner. Sage picked up her shoes, slipping them onto her feet. She could already feel the many smiles that would grace her face that night.
Swagger was really the only word that could describe the manner in which Ben walked from his car to Sage's home. He hadn't needed to ask for her address- he was no stranger to this house, though he usually went in through Lavender's window rather than the front door. Remembering the goddamn rosebush under Lavender's window that he'd fallen into on occasion, he walked round the house to pick a few roses for Sage.
He didn't even need to get them, really - it was as obvious as it was hilarious how she fawned over him, and as he walked back to the front door, he wondered why he had bothered. Frowning at himself and the unnecessary effort, he ran a hand through his hair then knocked on the door.
