I will draw up to 2 characters per request from the waist up; a single character will get flat colours while 2 characters will be more sketchy and monochromatic.  The fandoms I am most familiar with are Red vs Blue, Pokemon, Young Avengers, Steven Universe and Critical Role but I am open to draw anything from any fandom.

I will not take nsfw or overly violent/gore-y requests at this time.

If you think you’ve made the milestone donation, please send me a private message so I can confirm it and then take your request (make sure you include your tumblr name in the donation if you do!).

Any amount helps!  And if you can’t donate, a reblog will go a long way.  Thank you for your help.

Anyone who donates in the segment from the last milestone hit to the next one will have their names entered into a draw.  I will randomly pick a winning donator who will then get to choose what they want drawn. 

If you donate more it’s more likely yours will be the only donation to pass the milestone; if you can only donate a small amount, you’ll still be in the running with how many others might donate to reach the milestone.

So no matter how much you donate, there’s always a chance to win a drawing of your choice!

This reminds me why it takes me so long to digitally colour anything, takes frickin’ forever and I forget to blink. x__x

I started this almost a month ago, wow, in support of Marisha Ray and I’m glad it’s finally done so I can share it!  Watching and listening to Critical Role got me through the last few months of my Masters project and I’m almost caught up again in a second watch through of it.  Hopefully when I do more of these they’ll get wrapped up a bit quicker but I’m pretty damn happy with how it’s come out!

Technical Difficulties

SO all the pie drinks i THOUGHT I’d been uploading and queuing and were getting posted and getting crossposted have somehow vanished into the ether (this is what happens when I don’t write things up in a gdoc before queuing them up, whoops) or never got posted at all while my queue and any messages that have been sent to me, asks, questions, what have you are also kinda not coming or not showing up. I’m going to see what I dig up to restore/repost things in the following week and sort out the ask thing, please pardon my dust.

The Crimson Peak

In honor of Guillermo del Toro’s Gothic Horror/Romanice love letter, I give you the Crimson Peak.  It’s elegant and smooth and faintly bitter, with hints of anise that remind me a lot of the time period of the film.  The grenadine gives it a rich, red look and a bloody finish, the cream hiding all the sinister flavors below.  If you want more on the film itself please check out these posts.  For the drink? See below!

You’ll need:

1 oz Absinthe ( or anise extract)

4 oz Iced tea

1 oz Vanilla syrup

1/2 oz Grenadine

1/2 oz Cream

Pour your absinthe in your champagne flute and your vanilla syrup & tea in your shaker. If you’re using anise extract instead of absinthe mix 1/8 tsp with 1 oz water and add that to the shaker as well.  Shake with ice and strain into the glass over the absinthe. Pour Grenadine through the center, pour cream on top over the back of a spoon. Tada!  A Crimson Peak. It tastes a lot like an anise cookie and is bitter sweet wonderfulness.
