👾 Digimon 02 Characters, especially my ships ᐠ( ᐛ )ᐟ Daiken, Miyakari, Kenyako, Hikaken, Kenkeru, and queerplatonic Takari are my main ones but I'm open to almost any, though no ships with Digimon (with humans or with other Digimon, idk i just don't like to ship them) and I don't tend to ship anyone with Iori either
Sometimes I might occasionally draw somethin' else, feel free to ask for a drawing from any of my interests I've listed! (Though I'm not the best at drawing non-humanoid characters (,,>ࡇ<,,) but I'll do my best)
I'm also open to answering asks as my characters, one of my friends has started doing that on his blog, and I think it could be a super cool writing exercise :3

Sorry I disappeared for like almost two months but anyway here's just a silly post about how 02 is super straight and not gay at all
I literally can't if you look away for like a second then Miya and Hika are there being Shakespearean lovers in the background I swear they are like magnets to each other
Also the way that in the final battle with BelialVamdemon when Ken is trying to get Daisuke to stop fighting the first thing he does is go grab his arm like frggfgfgrgfg I can't even explain why they're so cute they just are
Anyway thanks for coming to my ted talk hopefully I don't go into hibernation for two months again

DARK BECAUSE THEY'RE BOTH SAD AF
anyway you have been warned here is the lore i wrote under the cut it's around 1000 words T_T
but i will also try to give an actual (albeit silly) summary at the end if you don't feel like reading all that because fair
Once, there was a little boy named KEN and his older brother OSAMU. And they had friends named DAISUKE, MIYAKO, IORI, TAKERU, and HIKARI. OSAMU was very kind, a good friend to everyone in the group, their favorite activity being to blow bubbles together.
But as they get older, OSAMU starts to focus on his studies more and becomes more distant and harsh, most of the group barely noticing due to the pedestal they hold him on as the big brother of the group, though KEN starts feeling pressure to be like him.
One day, as the two of them are walking home from school, they get into an argument, KEN trying to storm off, though OSAMU blocks his path, resulting in KEN accidentally pushing him into the street right as a car is driving towards them.
The driver of the vehicle seems unconcerned, trying to escape this by driving away as fast as possible, though KEN stands frozen, horrified at how his parents would react if they knew he pushed OSAMU into the street.
Just as things seem the darkest, he feels a hand on his shoulder, a comforting voice telling him he’ll walk him home, and that they’ll tell his parents it was OSAMU who stepped into the street, without KEN’s interference at all…the voice was DAISUKE.
As the two boys walk away, KEN clings tightly to his best friend.
Four years later, the group isn’t as close as they used to be.
KEN has stopped going to school and lost contact with his friends, never leaving his house, his parents making the decision to move away in hopes that KEN will be able to make new friends.
DAISUKE has desperately tried to keep the group together with his usual optimism.
MIYAKO has fallen in with the wrong crowd, and started to lash out at the rest of her friends due to the unresolved anger and guilt she feels at KEN cutting himself off, and DAISUKE still trying to put on a smile.
IORI, who saw MIYAKO and OSAMU as big role models and almost parental figures due to losing his father at such a young age, is disappointed at how things have turned out, simply trying to avoid the group while focusing on studies.
TAKERU fights with MIYAKO a lot, not understanding why she would ever process her feelings in the way she did. He wants to reach out to KEN, but never finds the right words.
HIKARI has distanced herself from the group most out of anyone except for KEN, almost never being seen at home, frequently visiting or sleeping in their old hangout spots, and seemingly dealing with her own demons.
Meanwhile, KEN has spent most of the four years of isolation in a perfect world he came up with called DIGITAL WORLD. In this world, KEN and his friends each have a DIGIMON, magical friends that understand them perfectly.
KEN’s friend group is exactly how they used to be, with one exception; KEN himself, who imagines himself as a villain called THE DIGIMON KAISER, who makes DIGIMON his servants and tries to take over DIGITAL WORLD.
As the story progresses, DAISUKE hesitantly reaches out to KEN in TOKYO, and they slowly reconnect, though KEN has repressed the memories of THE TRUTH.
In DIGITAL WORLD, the group engages in general shenanigans while trying to defeat THE DIGIMON KAISER, and take down the DARK TOWERS he set up to establish control over DIGITAL WORLD, as THE DIGIMON KAISER starts trying to create his own DIGIMON in secret by combining the data of many DIGIMON.
Eventually, the group in TOKYO end up back together, except for HIKARI, who is nowhere to be seen. MIYAKO apologizes for everything, and everyone happily forgives her, the group becoming best friends again and promising to keep in contact even after KEN moves.
On ONE DAY LEFT, the group in DIGITAL WORLD finally defeat THE DIGIMON KAISER, with WORMMON, KEN’s DIGIMON, sacrificing himself to give MAGNAMON the power to defeat CHIMERAMON, the DIGIMON that THE DIGIMON KAISER created. After this battle, THE DIGIMON KAISER breaks down, as the group just glare at him, repeating that they’ll never forgive him.
When KEN wakes up in TOKYO, he goes to look for HIKARI.
In her house, he finds a large portal leading to some kind of dark world, and heads inside alone.
Inside the portal is THE DARK OCEAN, a place familiar yet not. As KEN heads through, he eventually uncovers THE TRUTH about what happened to OSAMU, remembering THE DARK OCEAN as a place he came to when OSAMU died, first coming up with THE DIGIMON KAISER as someone who no matter how bad KEN was, was always worse.
After venturing farther, he finally finds HIKARI, distraught and saying that the darkness will take her away. As KEN tries to get through to her, HIKARI calls him THE DIGIMON KAISER, stating once again that she’ll never forgive him.
The two glitch into their DIGITAL WORLD counterparts, and HIKARI begins to fight him along with her DIGIMON, TAILMON. As the battle goes on, HIKARI desperately asks why KEN shut himself off, and states that MIYAKO was never the same after OSAMU died and KEN left. THE DIGIMON KAISER apologizes, though he can’t bring himself to say anything else.
All of the group eventually appear, repeating once again that they’ll never forgive him for killing OSAMU. That they’ll never forgive him for killing WORMMON. Eventually, as HIKARI and THE DIGIMON KAISER sustain bad injuries from their fight, they both pass out.
KEN awakens in WHITE SPACE with THE DIGIMON KAISER, who immediately tries to attack him, though KEN fights back.
After losing to THE DIGIMON KAISER, he disappears for a second, with OSAMU in his place, holding THE DIGIMON KAISER’s signature shades that so closely resembled his own glasses.
He asks KEN why he sees himself as that, to which he responds that he killed OSAMU, that he’s horrible, while OSAMU just holds out his hand, and WORMMON appears next to him.
As KEN takes OSAMU’s hand, he is transported back to the fight with THE DIGIMON KAISER, where he simply pulls him into a hug, THE DIGIMON KAISER smiling as KEN wakes up in the hospital in TOKYO.
As soon as he opens his eyes, he’s met by a tight hug from DAISUKE, scolding him for disappearing and saying they were worried about him, MIYAKO, IORI, and TAKERU quickly joining the hug as well.
After the group pulls away, KEN and MIYAKO decide to go check on HIKARI, everyone else adamantly agreeing. The group heads to HIKARI’s hospital room, where she slowly wakes up to another big group hug from everyone.
KEN and DAISUKE share a glance in agreement, finally speaking the words they knew they needed to say.
“We have to tell you something.”

anyway i promised a short silly summary so here's that too (if you already read the serious thing you don't have to read it XD unless you wanna understand the tags about their silly names)
There are bros Keh and Osasu
And they have friends that are Daisy, Ioii, Mayo, Taco, and Hihari (i stole the funny names idea from this post and omori in a nutshell they both killed me)
Everybody gets older and then Osasu starts studying he perfectionist he no care about frienship anymore >:((((
Keh and Osasu fight in the middle of the sidewalk and Keh accidentally oofs Osasu by yeeting him into road
Keh feels bad he accidentally oofs Osasu by yetting him into road so boyfriend bestie Daisy comes to rescue and decides to lie to Keh’s parents
Now it’s been four years Keh is traumatized and needs to touch grass and Mayo hates everyone and Ioii is disappointed in everyone so he avoids friens and Taco is disappointed in Mayo and wants to tell Keh to touch grass and Daisy is trying to stop everyone from hating people and being disappointed in each other and Hihari hates herself
Also Keh made up a place called Digital World where all his friends are happy again except for him because he’s evil and the Digimon Kaiser pew pew
In real world the friens try ot become friens again and in the digital world the friens try and defeat da digimon kaiser pew pew
Mayo apologies for being mean and they become friens
In Digital world the everyone defeats the digimon kaiser yay
Then Keh goes to look for Hihari who’s stil AFK and needs to touch grass and he finds a portal to another world with no grass because it’s the ocean
Keh remembers he accidentally oofed Osasu and then fights Hihari because she is angy and mad cause he be the kaiser
Keh and Hihari faints and then Keh fights himself in his dream where he fights the digimon kaiser and loses but Osasu helps him and now he wins
Then Keh wakes up and everyone reuninions and then they go see Hihari and everyone reuninions and then Keh and Daisy tell the everyone that Keh oofed Osasu the end
okay that was sleep deprivation ayay i don't even care how cringe i know i'm being rn because of SLEEP DEPRIVATION AYAY
Anyway, yeah, the AU plays out mostly the same as Omori just with a Digimon twist!
Most of them aren't supposed to be a specific character, especially since the addition of Osamu means there's one too many characters XD but Ken's supposed to have the role of Sunny, Osamu's Mari, Miyako's a little bit Aubrey, and Hikari and Daisuke are both kinda Basil. Neither Takeru or Iori fit the role of Hero that well lol, at least in this AU, but they're there 👍
Also the idea kinda happened during writing it but ig Hikari has her own Headspace too, like she knows about the Kaiser and Digimon and stuff, what she said also could've just been Ken's daydream, though that would beg the question of how they ended up in a fight 😭
Anyway this is definitely my longest post ever, but Digiomori fans, I HAVE DELIVERED YIPPEE and i will be drawing more of them cause i have to draw their Tokyo designs too hehe

Also to the Digimon Omori AU fans, I'm gonna work on more of it soon, honestly i didn't expect that post to get any notes cause it felt so random to me XD but I'm so excited to work on it moreee, so expect some more Omori Daiken, probably some Omori Miyakari, and trying to figure out how this AU will work because i don't want to kill anyoneeee 😭
Actually, If anyone has ideas for the AU, feel free to comment them or put them in my ask box, I'd be happy to try and incorporate it especially since I'm still trying to figure out worldbuilding at all lol, but ofc, only if you want to

I decided today i would draw Digimon characters in the Omori style because why not

The hair took me so long even though i definitely didn't do it right T_T so i only had the patience to do Daisuke and Ken, and the way i was sitting made my back hurt lmao, but maybe I'll do the others later
