I've been on a personal mission this year to reduce my carbon footprint dramatically, and have been doing a pretty good job so far! I will definitely continue to increase my own low waste practices as the year goes on. Anyone have any general tips? Here's are three things I've been working on and plan to continue throughout 2019: 〰️ Have not purchased any new clothing or home goods. 〰️ Have significantly reduced my meat consumption, and have actually eliminated meat from my diet the past week and a half. I plan to fully eliminate red meat for both health and environmental reasons this year, as I've become ultra sensitive to red meat over the last year or so. For the time being I will treat myself to some white meat and fish, but very sparingly. I have felt great since modifying my diet. 〰️ I have not used plastic bags this year at the grocery store, and have fully supplied myself with reusable produce and shopping bags. Doing no plastic no waste shopping is difficult, but it's something I will continue to explore and work on this year. .
