“How can you want to be an actress and unable to read.” He pointed to his name on the list. “It says Benny.” He took in a deep breath before speaking. “Acting holds a very important place in my heart. I want to be committed to it. As I really do love it. It’s just my heart is no longer in it.” Benton could feel his eyes getting glossy. Thinking about Cade always made him feel really sad. “Look, I just can’t do it. I have personal reason for backing out. I really am sorry.”

I’m the only other person in this world who I share a face with. Thanks, it’s a sore subject still. He was an amazing guy and he was my best friend not a day goes by and I’m not missing him. Thanks, it’s nice to hear things like that. I think I’ll find a way to get out of it. I already got the part it’s useless to act horrible now.

Benton was quiet letting Snow go to her happy place. For some reason he couldn’t take his eyes off the actress. He didn’t know if what she was doing was amusing or down right irritating. Benton couldn’t help but glare when he was called the wrong name. It was always a pet peeve of his. “I’m not going to fucking deal with this if you can’t even get my name right. You’ve got such a big head and we are only doing a college performance.” He huffed. “This is now becoming a new reason as to why I don’t want to act.”

“That does sound sad.” Benton agreed with the nod of his head. “But also every interesting. I feel that would raise a lot of questions about how people parent.”

Alright, fair enough. I can break the professor’s arm but other than a random act of violence, I’m not much help. Ugh, everyone always does Romeo and Juliet. It’s like they think Shakespeare only wrote that one play. But agreed, Mid Summer is my second favorite. Gotta go read Macbeth, dude. If I could get it on with any fictional character, it’d be Lady Macbeth hands down.

Okay, no. i don’t want to have some professors arm broken. It’s not the best way to go about this ordeal. Because it’s famous and people like it? I don’t know why that’s the one we are doing. The theater professor choose it. It was so good. I loved when I read it in class. Do you own it? If so may I borrow it. I’d totally go for Ron Weasley. I love gingers.

Snow let out a little sob. “This is the worst thing that’s ever happened in the history of theatre over!” She whined. “Your understudy?! He’s gross! Not to mention he’s the stage manager! He’s not even an actor! This is going to be the worst performance of my life!”

“I’m sorry.” He said softly, feeling bad for his actions. But one thing he couldn’t quite get over is how the memories of his brother came flooding through his brain each time he stood on the stage. “He’s an actor. I saw him audition and he was a very convincing Romeo. And I don’t know why you think he’s gross, he’s a very attractive man. I’d play Juliet just so I could kiss him.” Benton sighed. “You are being so dramatic right now.”

I’ve always had a knack for acting. It runs in the family, my twin brother used to act and stuff. But, it just doesn’t feel right. I don’t think I can suck it up, it’s actually a very painful thing for me. And I’ll suck any ass I’ve got to get out of this role.

Dude, this is a very personal reason as to why I need to drop out. It’s not like I’m a horrible actor, acting is in my blood. As my brother always told me. So you’d be very impressed with quality acting. Nope, it’s Romeo and Juliet. I’m a big fan of Mid Summer Nights Dream. Something about it, I don’t even know why I like it as much as I do. I’ve never read Macbeth though.

I’ve done many stupid things in my life time there is no denying that. But for whatever genius reason I thought joining the theater club at school would be fun. Not only did I manage to become the lead in some Shakespearian play, I’m miserable and want to quit. Fuck, I’ve even tried but I’m being held against my will by the stupid professor. Basically, in the most simplest of terms, would anyone know how to get out of a commitment this big?
