#ppl who are saying the show ends here are insane #at first i thought it was gonna end w them killing kendall #then i actually thought this was one of those happy dreams that suddenly end and reveal they all drowned or something #then i was scared it was gonna end here which is WAY too good to be true and doesnt make sense dramturgically #i figured since its such a shakespearean/greek tragedy type of story it was going to end in 2 ways #either they all die #or they all get tragic endings that fit the character #and it actually ended way more hopeful than i thought #and by that i mean i cant believe not one of the siblings died LMFAO #i thought kendall or roman were gonna bite it #or maybe even shiv for a second there when she was freaking out at the vote i thought theyd go the dumb killer pregancy route #to be fair i was stoned and also i dont have faith in tv writers much anymore #but they understood their story and characters. just like they did in veep #which left a sour taste in my mouth but…..what other ending could there possibly have been for veeps characters?#they were rotten since the beginning like succession #theyre the same writers and veep watchers have the most sccurate takes on succession #if anything veep had a truly tragic ending for only one of the characters. cough. gary #homie went to prison……succcession characters are just a little sad but still filthy fucking rich #and how fitting for a show about these spoiled brats to have them never face any real consequence?#roman and conner get this #but anyway i found the ending as poetic and epic and bitter and the best possible ending for the circumstances
