Sidebar Icon: Choose a size between 100px/150px/200px, with shapes square, rounded, circle or blob. Separate icons for light and dark mode! But If you want the same icon, simply upload it twice.

Dark Mode: If you decide to offer dark mode, it detects if visitor’s operating system is on dark mode, and displays that choice at the first visit - of course with the option to toggle the other mode on/off.

Via/source links are on permalink pages

to hide the archive link, simply delete the text in the field.

Submit-link and ask-link only shows if toggled on in your blog settings.

i can't figure out formatting on discord, how do people do all the cool formats and fonts and the double spacing?

so let's start with double spacing - i know people actually use google docs for this. type out your reply and then use find and replace (ctrl + f) to find " " (a single space) and replace it with " " (a double space)... once you hit replace all you'll have the double spaced text.

for the rest of the formatting discord uses markdown text so you just surround the text you want to format, i'll give you a quick guide here:

NAME HELP.

I am someone that struggles with finding names for characters, I’ll often spend times stressing over the name alone, which is why I’ve decided to share some of the tips I’ve learned throughout my many years of being on tumblr. I’ve definitely gotten much better at being mindful of character’s ethnicities than I once was. Yikes @ 2008 me. Anyway, here it goes:  

Look up said ethnicity + masterlist + tumblr on google and see if I can find anything, specifically looking for ones made by people from said ethnicity.

Look at directories of faceclaims for said ethnicity, such as turkishfcs when naming a Turkish muse. 

Read up on naming culture for a country / ethnicity, this is very important.

One of my favorite tips, that I believe I learned from olivaraofrph ( natalie ) is to look up notable people / celebrities from said ethnicity, wikipedia is actually relatively good for this. Just do keep in mind, some names belong to a specific person, so please make sure that’s not the case. If you’re unsure, perhaps it’s best to go another route. 

Lastly, a website  I find very useful is FOREBEARS as it’ll show you how common a name is for specific countries, both forenames and surnames. It’s great when I am unsure.
