As I perhaps have mentioned once before (?) I do have the intention to create some subtitles for My Chief and My Regiment (let's just call it MCMR as someone else has already suggested)...

I perhaps will find some time in the near future....

But one thing for sure: It's not going to be easy. XD Because there are huge cultural differences, so... translating something in a way, in which it makes sense, sounds natural in the target language but also does not "betray" the original... it's going to be a challenge, for sure.

Well, and of course, we'll also have some problems with (nick)names and titles and etc. (shizuo, tuanzhang, tepaiyuan, ... FYI, the official translation for shizuo is apparently "his excellency the army commander" (at least according to MDBG.net))

I guess the only (nick)name for which I've got a suitable translation right now would be gourou (lit. "dog meat"), Long's dearest brother by heart: MEATBALL. What d'yall think?

Any tips/ideas/recommendations for the other ones?
