Hey y'all I'm Berrie and welcome to my writing blog. I'm 30 and I've been writing since middle school. A/N: Listen, the only reason this came to be was that I was H word and wanted to write omega dabi eue so enjoy the smut
He had to be escorted from the meeting when his heat suddenly spiked enough for even the betas to notice, which was embarrassing, and had promptly sent Twice back- refusing his offered assistance before shutting his door and curling up on his bed. He sat there struggling with his thoughts before he started to sluggishly pull together the messy nest of items he had, trying to surround himself.
His clothes are stripped off and tossed away as he curls up, tucking his knees against his chest as he reaches down between his legs to shove his fingers into himself. Slick oozed from between his fingers as he started desperately pleasuring himself in the silence of his room. Quickly, soft quiet whimpers started filling the room as he slowly lost his senses to the lackluster pleasure he was giving himself.
He doesn't know how long it's been, but he's soaked through his nest and his fingers are slightly pruned when his door opens. His head snaps up to glare, vision hazy and swimming as he growls faintly at the shape entering his room.
"Oh shut up." Comes to the grumbled response as whoever entered closed his door behind them. It takes him a moment to pick up their scent, but recognizes the cut grass and ocean salt behind the annoyance. "Shuichi..."
"Yeah. Tomura messaged me and said you had gone into heat." The lizard huffed, ignoring the grumbles coming from Dabi as he invaded his nest fearlessly. "You know you're supposed to call me."
"Don't need it."
"Yes, you do. Idiot."
"Fuck off."
"Not til I help you."
Dabi grumbled, curling his fingers into himself and huffing a little tiny whine of resistance at the other's insistence.
"I'm pack Alpha for a reason, idiot. It's my job to help you. Now stop being a miserable brat and relax already." He says sternly, running his hand down Dabi's back as he starts releasing calming, reassuring pheromones to aid the stubborn and needy omega.
His cooler touch felt so nice against his constantly burning skin. Touya sadly couldn't hold out much longer- as much as he hated needing to rely on others for help, Spinner was right. He whined pathetically and squirmed to slowly unfold himself. He swats at him a little with his slick-covered hands before rolling onto his back and giving the lizard a scowled pout. "I hate this."
"I know. I know you do, but this will be a lot better. Come on." Shuichi carefully maneuvered himself into the nest and between his trembling thighs, letting the heated skin rest on his cooler scales. "How long have you been at it?"
"I'm not going to break. I can take you." He huffs, shifting a bit to get more comfortable as he shifts to press closer to the other.
"That's not what I asked."
"I don't know. fucking christ- Just fuck me Shuichi." He snaps, lifting his hips as if to make a point. "Or do you want me to present for you?" He says sarcastically.
Spinner frowns and rolls his eyes, having to remind himself that Dabi was always difficult. Even at the start of his heat cycle. Needy and stubborn. He refuses to take the bait and just pushes down his own pants and helps both of his lengths out of their confines. He ignores the keening noise that comes from Touya who's watching avidly as Spinner positions himself- teasingly rutting against his slick cunt to cover himself and make penetration easier. He only coats one of his cocks to start- whether or not Dabi could take him didn't matter, Spinner wasn't going to risk hurting him.
"Fuck- Just get on with it." Touya snaps, tossing his head back into his bed, whining as he tries to roll his hips against the Alpha's cock. "Please."
And there it was. The neediness was starting to outweigh the omega's stubbornness. "I'll take care of you, don't worry." Shuichi shifts, guiding his lower length into Touya with a quiet groan. He was always so fucking hot- mostly because of his quirk. They mixed so well though- Soothing over the omega's heat with his cooler body temperature as he slid all the way in, his other cock sliding against the small concave of Touya's hip.
"Oh fuuuck." Touya whimpers, gasping softly as Shuichi doesn't waste any more time after that, thrusting into the soft emptiness clinging around him. He shifts to lean over him, folding the omega's legs up to his chest again as he slams into him- soft gasps and keening moans filter over the slick slapping of skin against skin. With the new position, Shuich has full advantage of watching Touya unravel under him. The sounds of their fucking echoed through the empty sparse room, egging both of them on as Dabi trembled and Spinner did his best to focus on filling the needy cunt squeezing his cock like it never wanted to let go.
They didn't have to wait very long before Touya's body was bowing as much as it could, a strangled cry of pleasure being torn from the omega as slick and cum gushed between them. Shuichi doesn't say anything as he repositions himself, pulling out carefully from the clenching walls trying to suck him back in. Touya whimpers "Nooo." before Shuichi can shush him gently and reassure him. "I'm not going anywhere. I promise." He coos, reaching down to hold both of his cocks together this time. "I've got you." He says breathlessly before he's carefully forcing both of his cocks into the oversensitive omega. "FUCK!" Touya cries, panting raggedly as he's stretched over both of his Alpha's lengths- the pleasure burning through him. "Fuck- Fuck- fuck- Please- God- Fuck me." He pleads, uselessly as Spinner carefully slid the entirety of both his cocks into him.
"There we go." Spinner reassures him. "You're taking me so nicely. Don't worry, I'm going to knot you, Omega. You're going to look so pretty on my knots. I know you can take them." He praises him, watching Touya melt and sob through the stimulation, lost in the pleasure overcoming his thoughts. The panting turned into endless gasping moans as Shuichi started thrusting into him with slow, proper strokes. Slick, wet noises blended well with both of their moans, though Touya filled the air more thoroughly with his loud noisy cries of pleasure. "Please, please, please, fuck- please." The desperate whining pleas were more than enough to edge his instincts along, causing him to slam into him more brutal than before. It doesn't take very long as he feels both the bases of his cocks starting to swell. "Here we go- Just what you wanted, pretty thing. You're going to take both my knots so well. Such a good omega."
Touya was a mess of fuzzy instincts, desperate to be knotted and filled and coddled by his alpha. As much as Dabi liked to deny the needs he had as an omega, he did appreciate Spinner putting up with his bullshit and helping him regardless. He was a good pack alpha. Not that he'd ever say that out loud. Eventually, he feels the double knots swell and lock in, stretching him full and tight around both of his cocks. Shuichi rocked against him gently, grinding his hips in tight circles as he stuffed Dabi full and started carefully letting the omega relax and unbend from the folded position he had him. Touya vaguely hears his coos of positive affirmations as he carefully crowds him into his nest and helps him cool down and relax as they stay locked together for a few hours.
Eventually, Touya dozes off under him and Spinner's able to pull his phone out to reassure the rest of the pack that Dabi was taken care of and that everything was okay.

A/N: Well this was my first time ever writing Hawks... Wanted to give it a shot and found a prompt that sparked some inspiration here: “You were my greatest failure. I hope you know that."
Sitting perched on the corner of a building in the early morning sunrise, Keigo stared uninterested at the message he had just received. Apparently, his old man was dying and had requested the chance to talk to him one last time and the HPSC was oh so graciously allowing him to step away from his duties for a whole fifteen minutes to do so. Oooh, wasn't he special. He figured it wouldn't be a good visit regardless, he held no hope that his father was going to apologize for how he treated him or the life he put him through. But hey, fifteen minutes was fifteen minutes. Might as well entertain his dying father, if only to have a minuscule break. Besides, it might be nice to see the old man bothered by how unbothered he was about his opinions. He taps out a confirmation to taking the time to visit his dear old dad to say goodbye, using as few words as possible to 'thank' his handler for the chance. He then sweeps through to a different text channel and instructs one of his sidekicks to watch over his patrol area for the short time he had to step away.
He finds himself taking to the air, heading towards the jail where his father was being held. Of course, he wouldn't be released or provide comfort in his last hours but Keigo couldn't find it in himself to care. He didn't have the energy to waste on someone who didn't matter in his life anymore. He was sure it was off-putting for him to show up with a carefree smile on his face and cheerfully inform them of his reasons for visiting. Sure the jail knew that he was coming, but he didn't know what they were expecting, but a happy camper wasn't one of them. It amused him which made it worth it at the very least. He was all charming smiles and light-hearted comments as he was led back to a private visitor's room until they reached the doors. As he entered the room, his expression changed dramatically; expertly closing himself off and leaving only a slight, smug smile on his face as he sauntered over to the table to sit across from his father. He definitely looked worse for wear, with pale ashy skin, and sagging features evident of someone who was deathly ill and at the end of their rope. He looked exhausted and just as cranky as he had been in Keigo’s childhood. Ever a scowl on his face and judgmental eyes.
“Hey, pops. I was told you wanted to talk, eh?” He takes the initiative, not wanting to waste any more time than he needed, and wanting to just get to the meat of the visit. Let his father say his nasty words and move on from this. He was greeted with a cold stare and those annoyed pursed lips, apparently showing his father’s reluctance to talk at the moment.
“Well, I’m here despite everything, so aren’t you lucky? Really just wanted to see how you were fairing, you were my father after all. As awful of a one you were anyway. Still, I figured I owed you a chance to see my face one last time before you passed. So what is so important that you had to wait till your deathbed to share with me? Surely it wasn’t just to have the chance to glare holes through me for fifteen minutes. That’d be kinda disappointing, to say the least.”
They stare at each other for what feels like years until his dad finally coughs and clears his throat- a disgusting wet noise that makes Keigo cringe inward despite his carefully masked ease.
"You were my greatest failure. I hope you know that." His father finally rasped out, disdain and malice oozing with every word. Keigo supposed he meant to be hurt by those words, but all he could do was grin freely.
“Oh yeah, I’m well aware. Was that all?” He asks jovially, tilting his head ever so slightly to the right. His father seemed confused, and Keigo knew that wasn’t the reaction he was expecting, which just made it worth the visit. He was pleased to show this man that he didn’t have any effect on him anymore.
“It’s touching that even in your last moments, you’re still thinking of me, Dad. I’m sure it burns ya up, huh? Did you hear the news? Just last week, I was made the number two hero, ain't that just peachy?” Keigo hummed, leaning against the table and resting his chin in his hand in doing so. That seemed to rile up his father’s spirit, making the man scowl and sneer at him.
“Of course, you went off an became one of those filthy attention-seekin’ government dogs.” He spits, coughing as he expresses more emotion than he had just seconds ago.
“Yep. Someones gotta catch the yuck of society like you, after all. Otherwise, the streets would be uninhabitable.” It seemed that with every word that came out of his mouth, his father was more and more irritated. It was cathartic, seeing the old man getting so upset over how unbothered Keigo seemed to be with his attempts to cut him down.
’How self-centered did he have to be to think that the child he abused for years before his arrest would still be sparing him any thought? Did he really expect me to be hung up over what he had to say?’ He snorts mentally at the idea. He didn’t have time to dwell on his past that much, with how much work he was doing, his thoughts were always firmly stuck in the present and future- Had to stay one step ahead of the game after all, there were a lot of people in the world who needed saving and he felt like he was the only one really capable of doing it well enough. As much as he didn’t care for his rankings, it was an honor bestowed upon him because of the public. He made them feel safe and protected, even though there was still so much going on in the world and behind the scenes of normal society. If they knew the kind of crap he had to take care of or deal with, the world would be sent spiraling through chaos. He wishes things were as peaceful and kind as it was made to look. Maybe then he wouldn’t have to bend over backwards all the time doing what he felt was needed, and what he was made to do by the HPSC.
When it seemed like his father wasn’t going to say anything more, shaking up with so much anger and resentment to even form words, Keigo stood up and casually stretched.
“If that was all you wanted to say, then I guess we’re done here, huh?” He glances at the clock. “And not even a minute to spare. I’d say it’s been great seeing you again, pops, but we both know that’s a lie.” He doesn’t really know how to say goodbye to this man, so he just gives him a lazy salute and turns to leave. He doesn’t hear his father say anything or try to do anything in reaction, outside of falling into a coughing fit which saw a nurse rushing into the room after he left. Keigo assumed he should feel something over all this, but nothing was really coming up. He didn’t feel relief or joy, nor sad or depressed. Was he numb? He couldn’t tell. What was he really feeling? Was he trying to trick himself or was this it? It was times like these that Keigo lamented his habit of fabricating certain emotions to fit the situations he found himself in, constantly questioning if he really felt one way or another, or if it was just an elaborate ruse that even he was falling for now. Who knows really… Such was the life of a double agent hero. He went from one tiny cage to a larger, nicer cage, but still a cage nonetheless… He did find the irony in the fact that he just wants to be free like his father did all those years ago.

The tension between the two largest Yakuza families had been growing for months now. Deals were attempted between both families but always seemed to fall through, leading to deaths on both sides, and messy heists that ruined their livelihoods. All of it had led up to this one last attempt, with a meeting set in hopes of ending the constant bloodshed and terrorizing that had happened behind the scenes.
Both Tomura and Touya had been involved in the clashes between them both, but they had never met face to face like this before. Struggling back and forth to keep their territories and protect their investments, they both had blood on their hands and countless deaths behind them. And at this point, Tomura was mainly willing to do anything to stop the senseless losses. However, Touya wanted nothing to do with the deal, even if he agreed with the need for a deal. He was annoyed that he was being roped into the process when his younger siblings would have been a better choice, especially with the deal's nature.
Arranged marriage.
Shigaraki senior was tired of losing his men, wishing instead to extend and grow the family. And with Tomura, his only son, being an untouched omega. It made sense to offer his hand in marriage with Enji Todoroki’s eldest son, Touya. The only Alpha of his four children. It was a worthy idea, knowing that it would bring their families together into one extensive Yakuza family with the combination of their men.
Both heirs had their reservations when approached with the idea. Tomura was dismissive- his history of interactions with Alphas had left him with a less than positive opinion towards the secondaries. However, after his father explained his plans, he was more willing to go forward with the marriage, for the good of the family. Touya, however, was pissed off at being forced into the contract. Enji didn’t offer any explanation or deliver any of his other siblings. Simply told Touya that they were holding a meeting soon in their home to negotiate the terms of their marriage. Touya didn’t want to get pawned off to some weak omega, he never had any plans to ever play bonded mate to someone who couldn’t take care of themselves. The interaction had ended up with the pair nearly starting a fight, had his sister not stepped in to separate them.
On the morning of the meeting, Tomura finds himself sitting beside his father with his head down, waiting for the others to arrive. His hair is done up beautifully in a bun, and a soft sakura clip pinning his messy bangs away with long black ears folded down to frame his face. His makeup is simple but matched with his teal and pink floral kimono, looking the part of a desirably submissive omega. His ears twitch and his foot kicks slightly as he waits, nervous to meet the Alpha that he’s supposed to bond with. ‘What is he like?’ Tomura isn’t sure what to expect but has to keep reminding himself to keep his eyes down, be submissive, and don’t ruin this.
Too soon, the doors slide open admitting a very large redheaded man, followed by an equally tall, thinner male. Touya is simply dressed in a plain navy blue kimono with black hakama pants. His fire engine red hair slicked back and a black face mask concealing his scowl; he knows he won’t be able to hide baring his teeth in annoyance. It took everything for the Todoroki Heir not to reek of burnt sugar as he follows his father into the room. At the very least, Touya could admit that his future bride is at least attractive; he mutters this quietly to himself, though his father catches his commentary, a pissy frown contorting his elder’s face.
Sadly, Touya’s annoyance with the situation is not missed as Tomura can pick up the faint burnt, negative scent wafting through the room. Tomura keeps his eyes down, reminding himself to behave as his father speaks up:
“Thank you, Todoroki, for inviting us here today. I’m sure we have a lot of boring business to discuss. Why don’t we let these two get acquainted on their own?”
Tomura freezes at the suggestion, terrified as he subtly fiddles with the thin blade hidden in his sash. He’s sure it’s to establish trust between them, but if things go wrong Tomura is not going to hesitate to defend himself… and if that means he has to murder the other, then so be it.
"I'm pleased you were able to make it here safely." Enji intones politely as he moves to sit across from the man. "I agree, the sooner they start forming some sort of bond the better things will go." He nods, looking to his son as Tomura waits for direction from his own father. Soon the rabbit hybrid rises, turning to the alpha still standing at the door and bowing respectfully before stepping around him into the hall to wait. It isn’t his home, after all, it wouldn’t be polite to roam aimlessly, so he stands there and waits for his soon-to-be groom with his head down. His scent is a mixture of burning ash and a pine forest as he fought to keep calm.
Touya doesn’t move at first, barely reacting as the door is slid close behind him with the rabbit’s exit. He’s almost tempted to demand that he be allowed to stay and take part in their decisions over his future, but before he can even open his mouth, Enji narrows his eyes at him.
“Touya,” Enji growls.
Just his name has the alpha raising his hackles slightly and snarling, but he bites his tongue. “Yes, sir,” He grumbles before following the omega’s earlier actions. It takes everything for him not to stomp out into the hall like a child throwing a tantrum. He takes a steady breath once he closes the door behind him and looks over to the dolled-up omega who’s waiting outside in the hall. He glances over him, watching as he looks over him for a brief moment before looking away when they make eye contact.
‘Oh, his eyes.’ Tomura raises his eyes as Touya joins him in the hall. All he can really see is his eyes, and that is enough to make his cheeks burn, if only for a moment before he turns his gaze to the ground again. He’d been caught staring.
"Follow me," Touya huffs, folding his arms into his sleeves as he makes his way down the engawa, only glancing back to see if they had listened. He walks them around the home to the engawa that leads to the gardens; already open to invite in the cooling air. He doesn't step into the gardens himself but settles to sit down on the landing.
Tomura is definitely not happy to be ordered around, but he has no real choice and thus follows a few steps behind. As they make their way through the engawa, Tomura takes the time to look him over. He's pretty scrawny looking... he doubted if he even was an Alpha. He lifts his nose a little to scent the air to double-check. ‘Smells like one though…’ He thinks. Overall, the omega is at least comforted, even if just a little, by the fact that Touya seems just as angry over the arrangement as he is. The bunny gets quickly distracted, not noticing that Touya has taken a seat on the edge of the landing as he stepped down and into the flowering gardens. He stops a moment to take in how peaceful and beautiful the grounds are. It’s comforting just to look at, his ashy scent fading from the pine– the contentedness even drawing out a faint, positive floral scent. Outside of the restrictions of the meeting itself, Tomura’s ears perk up again, alert, as he regards the alpha. Now calm enough, Tomura turns his attention back to Touya.
It’s difficult to tell exactly what Touya is hybrid-wise. His ears suggest wolf, but his tail gives away his fox heritage. Tomura doesn’t approach him, but he doesn’t know what to say either. How is he supposed to start a conversation with this man? He’s his future husband. His future mate. The man he is likely supposed to conceive children with… and Tomura feels nothing for those possibilities. Sure Touya’s attractive, but he has no emotional connection or attraction to him… even now.
Touya doesn’t even realize he’s being examined, nor the morose thoughts going through his companion's mind. As soon as he seated himself, the alpha closed his eyes and took a deep breath in an attempt to calm his anger. The only indication that the canine is even aware of Tomura’s presence is the fact that his pointed ears flick and follow any sound he makes. Tomura not attempting to get too cozy with him so soon was a comfort, even if it’s a small one. Given another moment of silence between them, Touya is calm enough for his scent to mellow back down to deep rich chocolate.
Once relaxed enough, Touya opens his eyes again to take in the sight of the rabbit taking in the gardens. What should he even say? He knows his name, that he's an omega, and of course, that they are to marry. Touya hates this; usually, he’s able to chat up anyone over nothing, but being forced into a situation like this leaves him floundering- which only serves to annoy him further. The burnt sugar scent begins to creep back in as he struggles with what to say. ‘What do you fucking say in this situation?’ He mentally grumbles.
"What's... How are you doing this morning?" Touya asks, then mentally scolds himself: ‘God that was lame. How is he... uuugh. You’re such an idiot, Touya.’
Tomura raised a brow when the Alpha stumbled over the question. It was pretty lame but it was… something. “Can I be honest?” He asks, folding his arms into his sleeves and keeping his stance. He only waits until Touya waves a hand to give him the go-ahead. “I’m not for all this traditional shit,” Tomura says, not caring if it’s unbecoming of an omega to curse. “I don’t want to be here in the enemy’s house. And I don’t…” He scoffs. “I don’t know you… All I know is that your family has been killing mine so it’s not the greatest first impression.”
As Tomura rants, Touya does his best not to chuckle out loud, thankful for his mask hiding his grin. His shoulders give away his amusement as he relaxes a significant amount, nodding to what Tomura says.
Tomura notices him, though, which makes him wonder if the alpha finds his plight funny in some way. He was about to snap at the other man, but was interrupted:
"To be fair, I'm pretty sure your family has been killing mine just as well. So we're on even ground there." Touya muses aloud, his mirth evident. "And I don't care for this either. It's too stuffy and not my scene. Not to mention I wasn't planning on bonding at all if I could ever help it. So I'm not at all pleased that I've been forced into this at my Father's will." He rambles a bit, he doesn't know him either so he doesn't bother repeating the rabbit's sentiment back at him. Though with just this reaction, Touya is intrigued, to say the least. It gives him hope that at the very least, their bonding would be interesting.
“Hmm.” Tomura hummed in thought. ‘He was right.’ They were both fighting each other and murdering each other’s families. “I don’t want to be bonded yet either. It’s too much fucking work and I’d have to rely on… someone else to care for me. I hate that shit.” he reiterated, scowling. ‘God I need a smoke.’
Eventually, Tomura finds the courage to sit down on the step with him, at a distance, staring back out at the garden. He raises a hand to scratch at his neck. “I’d rather kill a thousand of your family than do this. But it makes my father happy so…I have to.” He blinked slowly, still scratching at his neck. ‘I’m so stressed out… I hate this.’ He lamented.
Touya tilts his head, ears twitching slightly as he happily allows Tomura to continue to talk freely and express how he feels openly. Touya slowly nods, understanding him a lot more than he expected. "It's fair to say neither of us wants to be doing this, but we have no real choice against our fathers..." He plainly states, shrugging a little. "I don't want to take care of no lame omega either, so if you're capable, take care of your own damn self then. Less bullshit I'd have to worry about."
“So no…the question isn’t…how am I doing. The question should be…what…am I doing.” Tomura’s ears couldn’t fall any lower.
Touya glanced back over, watching Tomura shut down a little as he scratched at his neck. "...What do you want to do?” He says, “They're going to strong-arm us into this regardless, and I don't know what they're going to expect from us, nor how soon after the ceremony will be. We don't have to like each other, and if you're not going to depend on me then what do I care."
“Yeah. I can take care of myself. Tch,” Tomura acknowledges as he keeps scratching until he’s asked what he wants to do. He stops for a moment and looks toward the gardens in thought, briefly distracted as he wonders if he smelled like the garden itself, before figuring out an answer for the alpha:
“Knowing my father. He would want us to be bonded as soon as possible. The ceremony should be enough to satisfy their desires… until we… figure something out.” Tomura says. ‘Maybe we could run away? No that’s stupid. They can pretend to be bonded? No…’ he thinks.
Tomura finally returns his gaze to Touya as he idly resumes scratching his neck; still understandably stressed and worried over their situation. ‘Blue eyes…red hair…that’s a weird combination… A mask to hide his face…’ He notices the tattoos and starts to wonder what other tattoos Touya might have. Curiosity makes him want to see them, but just barely. “We are gonna have to pretend…at least.”
Touya really wants to snap at him to stop scratching so much, annoyed that he’s likely going to hurt himself if he keeps it up, but he bites his tongue and sighs through his mask. "Sadly, knowing my father just the same, he'll be persistently pushy about getting things done promptly. He will not want to wait around for us to finish the deal properly," he grumbles, pulling his hands from his sleeves to accentuate the word "properly" with air quotes, exposing more richly colored ink in doing so, though not enough to reveal the full artwork.
Tomura doesn’t know how to feel about Touya’s father being so unreasonably impatient. Knowing how that man works, he’s more traditional and would expect them to bond and mate all in the same day and night. It makes his skin crawl just thinking about it. He’s still… a virgin.
Touya watches as he resurfaces from his thoughts, turning to look at him properly and take in his appearance. He nods at the other’s offer. "We can do that. Shouldn't be too difficult. And then again a challenge could be enjoyable for the both of us," he muses out loud, lifting one shoulder in a lazy shrug, "Though I wouldn't be opposed to a romp in the sheets.., I'm not exactly excited about the fact that I have to claim you." His tone is harsh; he doesn't mean to sound like Tomura isn't desirable, but it’s difficult to tell.
The rabbit takes in Touya’s words until he hears that Touya isn’t excited to claim him. His cheeks flush brightly; not with embarrassment, but with anger. “What’s that supposed to mean!?” His voice becomes cold and even. Tomura isn’t the type to raise his voice and yell, after all. He tilts his head, “I know I’m hideous but there’s no need to rub it in,” He scowls. He already had self-esteem issues due to his scars and marks, but to hear him say that… hurt a bit.
Touya’s ears tuck back slightly as Tomura snaps at him, but he slowly raises an eyebrow as Tomura continues. "Hey now, short stack, Don't go putting words in my mouth. I never said you were hideous. And whoever put such an idea in that pretty little head of yours needs their throat ripped out," he states calmly, shaking his head, "I said what I said, simply put. I never intended on having a mate and wasn't intending on ever properly claiming someone– not to say I haven't marked someone as a form of manipulation to get information. My disinterest has nothing to do with your looks or attitude." Touya’s ears flick back in annoyance, clearly peeved.
Tomura’s tiny tail swishes back and forth in irritation. How dare this attractive wolf-fox say something like that? Short stack? He can’t wait to end his life later. His hand curls into a fist. Does he think he can just get away with calling him short and pretty in such a standoffish way? He turns his head away sharply, his ears perked back just the same.
“Whatever.” He scoots further away from Touya and looks at his hands as he tucks into himself, feeling even smaller than he was. Tomura doesn’t believe that he’s pretty. Or cute. Or whatever. He feels a wave of discontent, the negative ashy scent only growing more potent around them.
Touya releases a long, suffering sigh as Tomura huffs and puffs and stinks up the whole place. He reaches up and rubs his face before running a hand over his slicked-back hair. "Can you at least try to chill out? You're going to make the whole estate smell like a newly put-out forest fire," he snaps.
Things are going downhill at this point. Touya isn’t trying to get on the other’s nerves, but Tomura seems so damn sensitive to things that aren’t even meant to be an insult. Or, well, Touya hasn’t meant any of what he said to be offensive. And though he’d been amused with Tomura’s attitude, his nerves are frayed, so he has a bit of an attitude himself. He isn’t sure how this is going to work out if the rabbit gets set off just from him stating his mind. How the hell are they supposed to fake it ‘til they make it for the sake of their families if they’re just going to get on each other's nerves so easily.
Tomura bristles slightly and feels his nose burn as tears threaten to form behind his eyes. ‘Great! Now he’s insulting my scent! Just wonderful, perfect even!’ He bitterly thought, wondering how the hell he’s supposed to get along with such an asshole. That’s not how you speak about a future bride. The longer he sits here the more he wants to just leave… so he decides to do so. He nearly jumps to his feet and climbs up onto the engawa.
“Fine. I’ll just take my scent somewhere else then,” Tomura gripes. ‘I hate this. I hate him,’ He internally huffs, walking back to the hall that leads to their fathers’ meeting room, stumbling as he speedwalks in a floor-length kimono. He doesn’t care if Touya laughs at him, he just wants to be away from him.

The rain had started just after three in the afternoon, half an hour before the end of Hitoshi’s class. He hadn’t thought much of it, considering he had worn a hoodie today since it had been a chilly morning regardless. He was so unbothered that by the time classes were over he had totally forgotten that it had started raining in general so he was a little startled when he left the building to walk home. His only exasperation was that he had his sketchbooks in his bag, along with some on the go watercolor pallets. So he ends up wrapping his messenger bag up and stuffing it carefully into his hoodie and zipping it up properly.
About halfway through the walk home, Hitoshi was half dozing on his feet at a no-crossing walk, waiting for it to change. So when he’s attention zeroed in suddenly on a distressing sound not even a few feet away, the college student was startled out of his daze. He looked around, moving out of the crowd of people he had been standing in and squinting through the rain until he discovered the source.
‘Oh no.’
-
Ochako had been home since one that afternoon, she was thankful she wasn’t out there getting soaked to the bone in the middle of a cold autumn shower. But she knew Hitoshi would be home and would automatically want to shower and have some coffee. So she watched the time as she worked on her assignments with Mocha stretched over her lap.
About fifteen minutes until he was usually home, she carefully nudged the cat out of her lap so she could get up and set up the coffee pot to start brewing as she stretched. As it crackled to life and the apartment filled with the smell of strong brew coffee, Ochako rummaged through the cupboards to find something to either make or snack on, determined to give herself a break from the demanding college work.
Not even a minute left for the coffee to finish, as she was scrolling through videos on her phone, Ochako hears the door of the apartment open and close quickly. She felt pretty proud of herself for getting the coffee brewed in time- she liked spoiling him sometimes since he was always so genuinely happy when he got back from class to a fresh pot of coffee. And honestly, who wouldn’t live to see him smile?
She got up from the table to go greet him when she heard soft, stressed meows. Confused she rounded the corner quickly to try and find Mocha- automatically assuming the cream-colored cat had accidentally hurt herself somehow. What she does find, was her boyfriend hunched over in front of the door rubbing the front of his sweater.
“Toshi?”
He instantly tenses and seems to hold the lump in front of his hoodie a little closer to himself as he slowly looks over his shoulder at her- subconsciously turning away from her physically. Hiding something.
“Hey, Koko.”
It would be stupid of her to not realize what was happening, and she squints at him even more at the cuter pet name.
“Toshi, no.” She was trying to scold him, but she could hardly put the right tone to it as the cat that was inevitably hidden in his soaked hoodie cried again. It sounded so distressed and upset that even Mocha made an appearance looking for the sad kitten that was calling out.
“I couldn’t not, Koko. It’s pouring out there and I- she...” He sounded so upset as he carefully unzipped the front of his hoodie. As she moved closer to him, she could tell he had possibly been crying but it was hard to definitely tell since it was cold and rainy out, but the matted kitten he pulled from his coat sad it all. “She...She was in a dumpster.”
Any sort of argument she would have had for him went out the window as her chest constricted tightly. “The dumpster...?” She hesitated in reaching forward for the cat before she turned and raced into the bathroom to grab a towel; coming back as Hitoshi moved into the kitchen with his bag and the cat. She unwrapped the towel and carefully took the dark tortoiseshell kitten from her boyfriend to give him a chance to go and change.
She sat at the small table she had been previously occupying as the kitten squirmed and cried in the towel. She cooed softly as her eyes teared up, gently trying to towel dry the kittens matted fur. The kitten was so tiny, maybe just a few weeks over the age that she could be separated from her mother, and with the way her fur was sticking together, she would definitely need a bath.
She was just standing up when Hitoshi came back into the kitchen.
“We’ll need to take her to the vet if she was in the dumpster,” Ochako said solemnly, making her way to the sink. “But for now we need to give her a warm bath. She’s shaking like a leaf and her fur is stuck together. And god knows what her skin was exposed to.”
“Will she be okay with a bath?”
“It won’t really matter. If we don’t bathe her, the clinic probably will.” She shrugs, turning on the hot and cold taps to find a barely warm temperature before plugging the cleaned out sink.
The next few minutes were the two of them working together with a barely filled sink of water and some dawn to wash the dirty kitten. At that point, the feline seemed to calm down a little bit, though she did tend to try and cling to one of their hands as they gently scrubbed her fur. Her coat was a dark brown mix through to a darker cream color than Mocha was.
The coffee pot was forgotten- though turned off in passing, as they then bundled back up in proper jackets and a covered cat carrier, with an umbrella and made their way to the nearby pet clinic.
As Ochako talked to the receptionist and told her what they were there for, Hitoshi got on the phone with his dad who immediately offered to pay for whatever the vets needed to do to make sure the kitten was taken care of... It helped a little that Hitoshi and his dad both had bleeding hearts in general for cats, so thankfully they weren’t going to need to pay out of pocket for her care.
And that’s how Ochako and Hitoshi found themselves as new cat parents together to a two month and a half week old tortoiseshell kitten that Ochako had proudly named Hazelnut.

A/N: @shinchakoweek prompt - 03. Reflections & Memories. Quirkless AU, College setting!~ It’s a little late! but just ignore that. asfhglkj
"Babe! Don't forget about your bag." Ochako called as she pulled her sweater over her head and grabbed a brush. She reminder didn't receive an answer so as she was brushing her hair out she wandered out to the living room. She wasn't at all surprised when she found her boyfriend fast asleep in the corner of their loveseat, wrapped up in his own sweater. She smiles as she picks up his phone from the counter and takes a picture of him before sending it to herself through texts. After she finished brushing her hair and grabbed both her purse and his messenger bag. All she needed now was her boyfriend to wake up. She made her way over to the couch and reached out to gently run her fingers through his bangs, pushing them back from his face before leaning in and kissing his cheek. "Hey, come on sleepy head. If we don't leave now we can't stop to get coffee and we'll be late."
"Hmmm."
"Come on. If you don't have any coffee then you'll fall asleep there." She giggles, softly ruffling his hair as he stirred and stretched. "And I'm not carrying you home again, sloth." She continues, teasing him as he pulls himself from the comfy corner.
"But it's so romantic." He argues weakly.
"Only because you like showing off the fact that your girlfriend lifts." She laughs, rolling her eyes.
"Listen, when your heart and soul starts working out and building muscle, I'm socially obligated, as your boyfriend, to show off how ripped you are." He states in a 'matter of fact' tone as he takes his bag when she offers it to him. She doesn't respond to him but her smile and the rosy pink of her cheeks show him that she appreciates his flattery.
"Alright Casanova, lets gooo!" She laughs, ushering him out the door of their apartment as she earned herself a small grin in return.
-
They were back at the Coffee House, waiting for their drinks to be made as they shared an everything bagel between the two of them while scrolling their phones.
"Mina's losing her shit, it's like she has no faith that we'll make it." Ochako chuckles, rolling her eyes as her friend spammed her inbox with messages asking how far they were from the festival.
"It's not like it's even time-sensitive. She's going to kill herself from all this unnecessary stress." Hitoshi shrugged, leaning his back against her shoulder as he lurked in the group chat he had with his friends who were also waiting for them to arrive.
"I don't even know if it's stress." She shrugs a little, resting her head against the back of his own, flattening some of his hair.
Silence fell between them as they munched on their breakfast and chatted with their friends. The cafe was a comfortable background ambiance around them since it had become their place to go when they weren't sure what to do. It was never crowded, and it was isolated enough that they didn't have to worry about people trying to butt into their conversations.
"Hey." Ochako looked up at Hitoshi's voice, turning to nuzzle into his hair. "Hm?"
"Remember our first date here?" And she could hear his smile as he continued to scroll through his phone as if he hadn't just poked a constant- affectionate- squabble topic between them.
"Our first date was at Darla's Diner." She corrected him, swatting his shoulder a bit as she went back to her phone.
"Nah, I'm pretty sure it was here. You came in to order a latte and you asked for my number. Then I brought it over and sat and talked for my entire lunch break. And you ate the rest of my bagel." Hitoshi stated, seemingly correcting her correction.
"Oh my god, that doesn't count as a first date."
"Sure it does."
"Toshi, nooo. We've argued about this already."
"I don't know what you're talking about. Why would we fight about when our first date was?" He played up the argument, sounding confused when she knew that he was just fucking with her.
"I'm not doing this." Ochako laughed, reaching up to tug at his ear playfully before going back to her phone.
"I think I lost my breath when I had looked up and seen that my next customer was you. Out of everyone, it could have been, and fate brought you back to me." He mumbled softly.
"And I had been unconsciously looking for you too. I was making my way towards the club without realizing it. But I came here instead, and there you were. All dressed up in your uniform, looking cute with your hair pulled back in a visor cap." She hummed softly, smiling at the fond memory. "Your expression was so soft and just, my heart skipped. I was so happy and panicked at the same time."
"It was cute." He chuckled, remembering how her face turned red while she seemed to flounder in her reaction.
"It still doesn't count as our first date." She counters, putting her phone down to reach around and tug on his cheek.
"Hm, I guess. Our first date at Darla's… You wore a really cute pair of overalls that had some planets on the front pocket, with a pastel yellow oversized sweater underneath. And you thought you were having a difficult time breathing. I remember not being able to fully believe that we were actually out together. You're so beautiful, I could hardly accept that you'd be interested in someone like me." Hitoshi hummed, reminiscing quietly. Lost in their personal bubble at the table.
" 'Someone like me' what are you even talking about. You seemed so effortlessly put together like it was no big deal. I thought you were still just testing the waters. I had been subconsciously nervous the entire date, even though I was having such a good time. And then you started joking around and your sense of humor is something I didn't think I'd find so attractive. But then you were laughing and smiling and just. I was gone." Ochako smiled, putting her phone down as she nuzzles into his hair a little.
"You smiled back. You were so genuinely interested in me the entire night and I was baffled, honored… I was lucky."
The two of them sat there at the moment, the cafe seemed to disappear into the far, far background as they just enjoyed the company of each other.
And then their moment was ruined when their names were called, causing both of them to jump slightly as they were instantly dragged back into the noisy ambiance of the shop around them; their bagel left stranded on the table for the time being.
Ochako waited until Hitoshi was up, not leaning on her anymore, before standing to follow and grabbing the rest of their food. Once their drinks were collected, the couple made their way back onto the main street and hailed a taxi to drive them up to the festival. The two of them were careful this time to not get lost in their memories from a year and a half ago.
After they arrived and made their way into the festival, texting their friends that they had finally made it, Ochako put her phone away and took Hitoshi's hand with a smile. "I'm glad Denki dragged you out to the bar that night. I'm so grateful to have you in my life."
"Mush." Was all he responded with, though despite that he still lifted her hand and kissed her knuckles. "I'm grateful too." Was all he was able to get out in time before their massive group of friends converged on them, surrounding them on all sides as everyone came together as one big group and made their way into the culture festival together- Ochako and Hitoshi sharing private glances over the heads and shoulders of their friends.

A/N: @shinchakoweek prompt - 02. Coffee & Tea. Quirkless AU, College setting! I have so many ideas for this one, let's see which one fits better~
A few weeks passed since the encounter at the Night club... It feels like forever ago now. Ochako had gone back to that bar a couple of times throughout the month, hoping to maybe find the familiar head of dusty lavender hair but she either just kept missing him or he just hadn’t been back. And given the fact that she had found him at the bar looking like he didn’t want to be in the first place, she felt a little stupid in hoping to see him there again. It would have been by pure luck that he’d be there again if only his friends dragged him back and she wasn’t sure that it would happen so soon.
School continued to demand most of her attention as she worked as hard as she could on finishing assignments and passing tests- all of which was draining her mentally. College education was important, especially if you have a specific goal in mind for your future, but it was so demanding that Ochako felt like it was sucking her soul out of her little by little. And she still had three more years of this! ‘I’m going to be a husk of a person by the time I graduate. IF I even get that far!!’ She groaned to herself as she slumped at her desk, pressing her face against the cool pages of her textbook.
As she stared off, her thoughts wandered to give herself a bit of a break as she looked around her room from where she was planted in her book. Quite a few thoughts filtered through in rapid secession. She needed to water her plants, had she gone shopping yet? Was there something ready-made in the mini-fridge all ready to eat, or did she need to get up and make something? Should she go to the commons? Maybe he’d be there- No, stop it, he probably doesn’t go to this Uni. But still... No! She needed to focus on her work, not some cute boy she spent a couple of hours with at random.
She peeled her face off the weird plastic-y paper of her textbook and shook her head at herself, patting her cheeks. “Come on, Ocha. Get yourself together.” And then she just sat there for a few minutes, staring at the words on the page. It felt like minutes, but just a couple seconds had gone by before she pushed the book away. “Screw this.” She huffed, pulling away from her desk and getting up.
She didn’t know where she was going, but getting out of the dorm was her top priority, so when she ended up on the sidewalk heading into town she wasn’t at all surprised. Her feet were carrying her back towards the club, but she realized that pretty quickly and on a whim decided to head into the coffee shop she was standing next to instead. She needed to stop chasing her thoughts. For all she knew, Mr. Art Major was probably from a different city altogether and was just spending the weekend with his friends. ‘It would explain why he got dragged to the club when he clearly didn’t want to be there.’
She tried to distract herself while she waited in line, scrolling on her phone and texting Mina if she wanted anything. It was doing a decent enough job. Until she got to the front of the line.
“Welcome to Coffee House, what can I get you... today.”
That voice. She quickly looked up from her phone; where Mina had just texted her what she wanted, to see Mr. Art Major. She didn’t react right away, and he didn’t seem to mind all that much since he seemed to be caught in the same situation. After a beat, her eyes dart down for a name- Hitoshi... ‘Oh no, it’s a cute name too. Fuck!’
“Hi. Um....” She blinks for a minute before mentally shaking herself out of this weird stupor she was stuck in. “Yeah. Um. Can I get a, uh, large Matcha Latte please?” Welp, so much for ordering something for Mina. She’ll worry about it later... Well. Mina would understand, right?
“Sure, and what’s your name?” He asked, holding up the cardboard cup with a permanent marker- in purple.
“Ochako.” She smiled a little as she put her phone in her pocket and pulled out her wallet instead.
“Alright, and would you like anything else with your order?” A standard question, sure, but with the irrational fear of possibly never seeing him again (he works here Ochako, you can stop in whenever, omg), she spoke before she could properly think.
“Your phone number?” She froze slightly, sure that she had a mild look of panic on her face as Hitoshi raised an eyebrow in surprise. Her entire face lit up as she covered her mouth. “Wait, I- I’m sorry, that-!” She stammered a little as Hitoshi’s look of surprise turned to one of amusement as he picked up her cup again and proceeded to scribble on the side of it.
“If that will be all, ma’am, then your total will be four dollars and sixty-five cents.” He sounded amused as he handed the cup off to a simple looking blond boy next to him.
Instead of responding properly she just pulled out her card and handed it over. That was so embarrassing! How did she do that- WHY did she do that??? She had no clue what had come over her at that moment. And when motioned to, she moved out of line and went to find a table to sit at while she waited for her drink. The noise of the coffee shop dulled around the pounding her ears- sure that her heartbeat was attempting to deafen her. She
As she sat down, Ochako pulled out her phone again and started spam texting Mina while she waited. As she had expected, her friend both congratulated her and spammed her with key smashes over the whole situation.
‘u wouldnt shut up about him! & now ure getting his number!!!’
‘shut up! i dont know that for sure??? wat if he wrote -dont come back-???????’
‘OMG ure brainless he totally wrote his number shut up’
The continued to bicker through text as Ochako pressed her face against her phone and lightly stomped her feet. Her nerves were killing her at this point and she just wished that they’d call her name so she could grab her drink and leave.
What she didn’t expect was for Hitoshi to take his lunch break at the same time, since he slightly startled her when he brought over her drink; with a bagel in hand. She jumped a little with a start, as her cheeks regained their rosy hue from before.
“Sorry. I should have said something.” He laughs awkwardly, hesitating for a moment before sitting across from her.
“No!” She squeaked. “No, it’s okay. I just. I was distracted, you’re fine.” She just wanted to disappear, this was so embarrassing... At least the slight pink to his face was a small comfort in the fact that she wasn’t the only one.
They both sat there for a moment, both a bit awkward and unprepared for the meeting- especially given the fact that they have both been unknowingly going through the same thing these last few weeks. They shared a couple anxious looks every once in a while before shying away from the other’s attention to focus too much on what was in front of them; Hitoshi awkwardly eating his bagel by tearing small chunks off little by little, while Ochako carefully sipped her latte and tapped her phone.
“So um... How did that- the exam? How’d that go?” It was Hitoshi to break the silence, startling Ochako into paying attention again as she fidgets with her pop socket.
“Exam...? Oh! Oh that exam, yeah! I uh, I just barely passed it, but I scraped by at least. No thanks to my friends of course. It wasn’t super awful, but I think I was just distracted... I could have probably done better.” She shrugs, reaching up to tuck some hair behind her ear. And left with nothing more to really say, they lulled for a moment before Ochako awkwardly spoke up again. “I hope um, that your friends came and got you that night- shortly after we left. I can only guess how sucky it would have been if they forgot to find you before they left since the club was closing.”
He chuckles a bit and shakes his head as he picks at his bagel. “Yeah, no worries. Denki spammed my phone shortly after you left with your friends. The guy’s an idiot but he’s not forgetful. Even when drunk.” She nods for a moment before she tilts her head- That name was way too familiar to her.
“Denki? As in, Denki Kaminari? That Denki?”
“Idiot blond, wears a ridiculous black zig-zag hair clip in his bangs for no other reason than ‘aesthetic’?” He asked slowly, seemingly unsure if he really wanted to know her answer.
“Oh my god. I could--hmmmm.” She groans, covering her face as she grips her phone tightly and shakes it like she wants to yeet it across the cafe.
“I’m missing something.”
“Uuugh. My best friend and roommate is Mina. She’s dating Eijirou, who’s friends with Denki- Who they tried to set me up with for a double date!” She ranted. “Like!! He’s not a bad guy or anything!! Just!!!” She made a squeaky ‘reeee’ noise. “This is so Stupid.” She continued on as she pulled her phone up and spammed Mina with a bunch of anger emojis.
“What’s-” He seemed a bit off, and had she known him for longer than maybe half a day in total, then maybe she would have picked up his tone as a more exhausting annoyance than confusion. She watched him from the corner of her vision as he ran a hand through his wildly fluffy hair and pull out his own phone.
“I agree. This is dumb.” He grumbled quietly, probably mostly to himself as he then dropped his phone on the table.
“I’m sorry about how I reacted, just... This is so frustrating. And I hope this doesn’t come off as creepy or anything, but I’ve been trying to... Find you again. Ever since that weekend.” She sighed, slouching a little back into her chair, tugging on her hair a little.
Her statement was followed by silence for a moment as she watched him pick at his bagel for a moment. “It’s not creepy. I’ve been trying too. And with all the times I talked to those morons about you, you would have thought that-”
“They would have realized.” She continued with him, nodding as she crossed her arms. “Yeah, you would think. I can’t believe this.”
They both sat quietly for a moment as Hitoshi pushed his half-finished bagel away with a huff. A couple minutes after, he picks up his phone and frowns. “Well... It has been nice to actually sit and talk with you again. Maybe we can catch up later?” He asked, nodding towards her cup. She tilts her head to the side for a moment before picking up the cup again and turning it around, smiling weakly. He had written his number on the side.
“I don’t even know how I got the courage to say that. It was such a spur of the moment thing, and I totally forgot to look when you brought it to me.” She laughs, pulling up her contacts to put his number in and sends him a quick ‘Hey’ text. “But yeah. We can catch up later. I’m glad I decided to stop in, because who would have guessed huh?” She laughs, standing up as she pocketed her phone and picked up her cup- And being the way she was she eyed his bagel.
“Yeah, that was pretty damn smooth though. I was thoroughly impressed.” He laughs, ruffling up his hair as he too follows suit and stands up. He watches her eye his half-eaten lunch. “You can have it.” He grins, she was sure he was planning to save it for later since he had partially reached for it, but apparently, he didn’t seem to mind her side-eying it.
“Awesome!” She smiles, scooping up the bagel and taking a bite out of it before realizing she still needed to say good-bye. “Oh.” She lifted a hand to cover her mouth. “I’ll see you around then, Mr. Barista.” She teased as she swallowed the bite.
“See you around, Matcha Latte.” He jokes back, walking past her to seemingly head back to work.
Feeling lighter than she had, going through a damn emotional rollercoaster ride just from stepping into a coffee shop, Ochako couldn’t help her smile as she shouldered her way out of the Coffee House and made her way back to the dorms.

It’s pretty common knowledge in the friend group that Hitoshi wasn’t a very social person. Not that he didn’t interact with people period, but given the choice, he would rather stay holed up in his dorm with his cat and some lo-fi music. So when Denki hauled his ass off to the night club near campus, everyone was surprised and overtly (read: Drunkenly) excited to have him there!
He remembers regretting letting his roommate drag him out after just about five minutes of loud thumping club music and the insane amount of people surrounding him. ‘This. This is the number one reason I stay at home. Too many fucking people. The next person to grab my ass is gonna catch these hands, swear to god.’ He had been stuck in his head as he tried to drown out the music that matched his pulse and ignore the fact that there were too many people on all sides of him.
He should have just called an uber and gotten the fuck out of there. He could have dealt with Denki and everyone else's disappointments later on while they were hung-over. And still, at this point, he wasn’t sure if he was glad he hadn’t gotten to that point yet or not because then She appeared.
Like some unspoken force had sought to answer his desires to get away, a girl with a bob cut appeared at his elbow and tugged on his sleeve. When he had looked up to glare at her, she only smiled and motioned for him to follow her... He didn’t know what possessed him to actually get up and follow her since he had no clue who she was, but he was grateful when she seemed to lead him away from the thumping music and the sea of bodies.
The near-silence of the back rooms was bliss after suffering from the club atmosphere for more than just twenty minutes.
“Sorry to drag you away from your friends! You just looked like you were having the worst sort of night out there.” She finally spoke as she dropped onto one of the sofas in the room.
“Yeah...” He muttered, shifting awkwardly before walking over and settling into the opposite couch and curling into himself a little.
“I’m the designated sober buddy for my friend group tonight so I’m just waiting for my friends to come to find me when they want to go back to campus... That or until it hits two a.m. Then I’ll have the pleasure of going out there and rounding everyone up.” She laughs softly, picking up the book he hadn’t noticed was sitting to the side. He wasn’t sure why she was telling him this, but he didn’t really make any motions to stop her. She seemed nice though. Small in stature, maybe somewhere around Kyoka’s size, with matching brown hair and eyes. Her face was soft, flushed, and a little chubby but not in a bad way, and her hairstyle made her look like she had a pretty large forehead... That or her eyebrows were just really damn small. Either way- she was pretty cute.
He didn’t realize she was still talking when he finally zoned back in on her rambling about her girlfriends and how she hadn’t really wanted to go out tonight and how she had an exam in two days that she needed to really study for, but she was! She didn’t seem too bothered that he wasn’t really responding to her, which was nice since he didn’t really mind listening to her ramble either.
As the night went on, Hitoshi wasn’t sure how, but he ended up in a pretty relaxed conversation with this brown-haired woman for most of the night. They talked about anything from their friends, to their classes, what kind of animals they liked, their favorite drinks (both non- and alcoholic), and their obnoxious professors. They seemed to hit it off pretty well, and despite the fact that he was talking to a stranger, he was really enjoying this random bonding moment.
At the end of the night, a brightly dressed woman stumbled into the room with a couple of other people. “Ochaaaa!! Ocha~, the bars closing. We gotta- we gotta go!” the new girl nearly stumbled into his company’s lap, laughing. He could smell her intoxication from here and gave ‘Ocha’ a faintly sympathetic look. A couple of the others in the friend group, ones who didn’t seem to be as hammered as their friend, swarmed forward to catch the bright pink drunk lady before she could actually fall over.
“Alright Mina, alright. Come on, let's go get something to eat, yeah? I bet you’re starving.”
Her words seemed to do the trick because not even a minute later the group was heading out the door and Hitoshi was content to just let them head off on their own. What he wasn’t expecting was for Ocha to loiter around the door for a moment, the less obnoxious club music blaring from down the hall as she looked back at him. He raised a brow, curious as to why she hadn’t run off after her friends already, but then she smiled at him.
“Thanks for keeping me company and not thinking I was some creep when I brought you back here. It was a lot of fun talking with you.”
“Uh, yeah... Thanks for rescuing me before I started a bar fight.” He joked, reaching back to rub his neck as she seemingly beamed at him while giggling.
“Of course... Well. I’ll see you around!”
And that was it. That was the last he would see her. And usually, he wouldn’t mind all too much, he didn’t think anything of it when she disappeared and left him there with his own thoughts. He had loitered in that back room for a few minutes until his phone started blowing up with texts from his friend group.
What he hadn’t expected was for the thought of Ocha to follow him around that following week. Without realizing it, she crept into his thoughts at random times and he found himself thinking about her whenever he wasn’t distracted with school or his friends. He wondered how her exam went and if she actually got any time to study for it, or if her friends were continuing to distract her. He wondered which college she went to since he hadn’t really recognized the classes she mentioned taking. He had even subconsciously started to pay attention to the people around him while he was on campus, unknowingly hoping that he’d run into her again or see her walking around.
It wasn’t until that following Saturday that Hitoshi felt lost. He was kicking himself for not getting her full name, or her number, or a social network username or something from her. And on top of it all, he wasn’t sure why she was stuck in his thoughts either. So they had some comfortable conversation at a night club for a couple of hours. What was so special about that? He didn’t know and it was driving him crazy. He just wanted to see her again so he could maybe figure out what was going on with him- why was he thinking about her so much.
That night, unknowingly to his friends, Hitoshi made his way back down to that night club in hopes of finding her there. It was just as loud as he had remembered it being, but the thumping music wasn’t an issue this time as he scanned over the sea of morons crowding the place. Everywhere he looked, people seemed to blend in with each other. Blond, brunette, redheads, dyed hair, black hair, tall, short, skinny, chubby, athletic... He shook his head and groaned in frustration before he turned to head back to that one room. Maybe she was back there again because fuck that crowded dance floor.
Sadly what he found in the back room was DEFINITELY not what he was looking for, as he squawked an embarrassed Sorry and slammed the door closed again... God that’s not something he wanted to see ever again in his lifetime. And it was in that secluded hall that he leaned against the wall and frowned... nay, pouted to himself. Was he ever going to meet up with her again? Or was the universe going to fuck him over in the end and leave him to always wonder about the nice women from the club who kept him company?
If only he knew that the night before, she had been back at the club as well. Looking for him.

It’s been years now since Jam came to the Valley. They married Elliott, they had a little boy named Lukas, and Razzel family farm had grown prosperous. Despite everything, and regardless of all the friends Jam had made in Pelican Town, the one they were closest to was Gus at the Saloon. Granted they got along pretty well with everyone in the Valley; even to the point that they had put their head together with Robin and commissioned a home to be built for Pam and Penny.
Either way, Jam could always be found hanging out at the saloon with her family, or by themselves in the early hours of operation. They loved sitting at the bar with Gus and talking about recipes, food, drink, and cooking overall. Gus was also a really good Uncle figure for Lukas as he was growing up since Jam didn’t have a lot of contact with their family, much less any siblings for their baby to call aunts or uncles. Gus seemed to love it though! He took to spoiling Lukas like they were his own nephew and it meant the world to Jam. It was for this reason that Jam always liked to claim that Gus was one of their best friends, alongside Elliott and Leah of course.
I didn't get around to writing too much this past week. for some reason, I've been super tired and sleeping a lot and I don’t know why. but for that reason, I didn't have a lot of awake time to really sit down and write out anything.
regardless I'll try and work on some of the accumulated prompts i didn’t get to through day’s 6 to 12 for both the Stardew Prompts and the Villains Month prompts cuz I do have ideas for them. I’m just so tired.

A/N: I’m skipping Day’s 7 & 8 because I can’t pick a favorite yall, I really can’t.
"Come on Sammy! We’re gonna be late for the festival.” Ochako called through the farmhouse as she finished putting together a travel bag for Ichirou. Meanwhile, said toddler was sliding around the wooden floors in his Halloween costume.
“I can’t find my shoes!”
“Under the bed, my side, near the headboard!” Ochako replied as she chased after her laughing toddler, smiling as they both swept through the halls and into the living room to see her husband hopping into the room as he pulled on his shoes. “You really need to start getting ready like an hour before I start getting ready.” She teases him as the blond stood with a huff, giving her a sheepish smile.
With her husband ready and their son already bolting out the front door, Ochako and her family made their way into the town square for the Spirit’s Eve festival. The moment they get in, Ichirou makes a run for Jas and Marnie at the start of the spooky maze, attracting Vincent’s attention and sending the ginger running over. Even though Vincent and Jas are older than Ichirou, they still seemed to enjoy spending time with the boy.
“Hey Marnie, it’s good to see you. As always.” Ochako smiled, giving the livestock farmer a side hug as the kids ran around in the grass, chasing each other. At least it gave Marnie a small break from bickering about Jas going into the maze.
As the two stood talking, Sam bolted into the maze after giving Ochako a kiss on the cheek. Not evena moment later they could hear Abbigal scream and laugh, cursing at Sam for startling her. The loud noise got the kid's attention for long enough that Ochako and Marnie acted quickly and coralled them into the social area of the festival and distracted them with fun, light-hearted games, and food.
This year it seemed like Haley was done trying to attempt the maze and was instead roaming around with her camera, taking pictures of everyone. Ochako offered to pay her for some copies if she got any of her and the family together, which Haley appreciated very much. Overall it was a rather enjoyable festival, and it was one Ochako was glad that Ichirou could finally enjoy on his own with them having to carry him around or hold his hand.
Heck, the kids even managed to drag Shane into their fun after Jas gave him some big ol’ puppy eyes. Which left Sam to find his wife settled at a picnic table, watching sleepily as Shane ran around the bushes and flower beds, peeking around the lamp post in front of the saloon. He decides to join her and laughs as he encourages the kids to gang up on Shane when he trips in the grass.
Soon enough they’re joined by Marnie, Jodi, and Kent at the table; all of them baring plates of food for them to nibble on as they talked about the past year and their plans for the coming winter.
As the night passed them by, Ochako, Jodi, and Marnie ended up with sleeping children in their laps and dozing male companions leaning against their shoulders. They all felt similarly exhausted but carefully woke their husbands, or nephew in Shane’s case. The conversation was whispered after then, telling them that it was time to head back home so they could all crash for the night. Ochako wished her parents-in-law a content goodnight before slowly shuffling back to the farm with Sam by her side, whispering over how much fun they had catching up and letting the kids play.
As they got into bed, Sam pulls Ochako in against his chest with a delightful hum and sleepily mumbles that he loves her and their family and how much he’s so grateful that he ever met her, and that she gave him a chance. Ochako tiredly called him a sap and kissed his chin before curling into him and passing right out not even seconds later.

A/N: @dawnryze October Farming game prompt. Day 6: Frist Husband
Jam has been living in the valley for a year now after running away from a troubled home and depressing work life that was just tearing them to pieces. The past few months, they had been running around like crazy doing a lot of different tasks that weren’t centered just around working on the farm. Throughout the past year, they’ve been in and out of the old community center, in and out of the mountains, up and down the beach, and had spent a lot of time in either the library or the saloon. Everyone in the Valley knew Jam and the only one who didn’t have something positive to say about them was Haley, but honestly, no one was surprised.
The one person they seemed to have grown the closest with, however, was Elliott. The silent creative man who lived in the shack on the beach. Jam couldn’t remember exactly when they met, but they had been going down to the beach to do something originally and ended up getting caught up in conversation standing there on the bridge.
Usually, people will claim that it took a while for their spouse to grow on them; for them to get close or like each other, but Jam’s opinion was different. Technically it only takes a couple minutes for your heart and mind to become attracted to someone, sometimes even seconds. It’s the time spent together afterwords that give you time to truly process those feelings and figure out if they’re compatible with the other person’s feelings towards you as well. And from just one conversation with the cheesy writer, Jam could feel themselves falling head over heels.
Throughout the year as times passed and interactions between them steadily became more frequent, it became glaringly obvious to everyone in town that the two were falling for each other. Especially to the point that Pierre sent Jam a letter in the mail that if they had found someone truly special to them, that he was now selling bouquets of flowers at the store now.
At that point, Jam wasn’t sure if Elliott actually liked them that way but they had decided to throw caution to the wind and bought one, blushing as Pierre gently ribbed them for it. The whole walk to the beach they were trying to figure out if they were just blind to how Elliott felt for them since they were admittedly sometimes oblivious when it came to how people felt towards them and would just always assume the friendliest/platonic of feelings from others that were kind to them or spent a lot of time with them. It was also generally safer since they tended to form crushes on people like there was no tomorrow.
After that day, the two of them had been a jumble of nearly intolerable cheesy flirts, now that they had both confirmed that they had liked each other much more than just friends. Abby and Pierre would tease Jam whenever they were in the shop, and Leah would always buddy up to them when they visited the saloon. At some point, Jam had confessed to Leah that they wanted to propose to Elliott but wasn’t sure how they should go about it. To which Leah suggested they do something creative since Elliott liked all things artsy.
A week later, they had received a letter from both Lewis and Elliott. Lewis’s letter told them about the Valley’s tradition of offering a shell pendant to the person they wished to spend the rest of their lives with. Which made Jam realize that they had noticed these shells before but had never thought to ask about them: Nana Evelyn, Jodi, and Caroline all wore one of these shells. They didn’t visit the mountains often so they never noticed that Demetrius also had a shell necklace.
It took a while for them to finally figure out how to obtain a mermaid’s pendant, discovering a book in the library that told them about a ghost that appeared on the beach when it was raining. They had been hesitant to believe the information, but considering all the other supernatural things that they had encountered since they moved to the Valley, it couldn’t hurt.
They found the ghost after Elliott took them out onto the ocean though, he had asked them to meet with him down on the docks the night his letter had arrived at their house. They had been surprised that it was a romantic boat ride on the water as he expressed some pretty deep feelings. It was the surprise kiss that they had ended up sharing that convinced Jam to officially start their search for the Mermaid Pendant.
They wondered quietly if there was some weird kind of symbolism to them buying an engagement piece from a ghost in the rain... It didn’t help any but by the time they had gotten the guts to finally ask was during their second summer in the Valley. Jam knew that Elliott liked to spend time down on the beach in front of his cabin on Friday’s and Sunday’s like clockwork; what they didn’t expect was Sam to be down on the beach with Vincent and for Leah to be sitting in the tide when they showed up.
They had gotten super flustered by the fact that they figured out what was going on right away; at least Sam and Leah had anyway. But it warmed Jam’s heart regardless and after a moment of thought, they even asked Vincent if he wanted to help them as they both started gathering driftwood and shells from the beach. With a little fumbling, they spelled out ‘Marry me?’ with the wood and shells before Jam asked Vincent to go and knock on Elliott's door for them, which he was more than ecstatic to do and went banging on the poor shack’s door.
“Vincent what-” Elliott seemed a little disheveled, with a brush in hand when he looked up to notice Jam standing there holding the pendant. They were momentarily distracted because Vincent had booked it back over to hide behind their legs.
“Afternoon, Elly.” They smiled softly over the waves and Vincent’s excited babbling, directing the author’s attention to what they had written out in the sand. “I...Will you marry me?” Jam finally asked, bashful as they shuffled up to where the brunette was still standing in his doorway; holding out the cone shell necklace, offering it to him.
“!!! Yes!” He seemed startled out of his shock as he drops his brush to instead scoop Jam into his arms and twirl with them into the sand, laughing. Leah’s whistling in the background, Sam’s shouting at them in celebration and Vincent is just feeding off their excitement while running around his older brother squealing.
“I’ll put everything together, don’t you worry about a thing.” Elliott smiled behind a curtain of messy hair, which Jam promptly swiped out of his face enough to lean up and kiss him. “I love you so much.” They chuckled, wrapping their arms around their fiance's neck and hugging him close as they laid in the sand.
“@takemetoforgetmenotvalley replied to your post “@dawnryze I’m so...”
I’m super interested in the mods that make the farm pretty, and maybe the tractor mod looks fun! Elliot is like, on my list. When the game came out I went for Sebastian, and then I started on Elliot but never made it lol. As soon as Shane dropped it was over lol. When the game first came out I wanted to marry him so bad. I hope the new update adds more for the post-marriage, because I want more development of my sad husband. I think Emily, Penny or Leah would be my go-to for the girls.
I really like Emily as a best friend in my mind. Shes so cool
oh that’s valid! i have a lot of aesthetic mods myself honestly. most of my mods usually are just visual mods but recently I’ve been messing around with some technical-based mods and also downloaded a new map mod and an extended game mod which is HUGE and changes so much about the game but like not the extent that it feels like it’s not stardew anymore? if that makes sense anyway. it adds in some new NPCs, edits the maps to either a) seem more lived in as a town (like adding gardens to some/most peoples houses, adding a community spot that some of the town folks visit every once in a while so it also changes the original NPC schedules in a way that makes sense and just, it feels like theres more depth and i’m loving it so much.)
i applaud you though for going after seb first lol, with his schedule he’s a tough cookie to really romance unless you super stalk his schedule and pay attention to the time in-game. if you like slightly sappy romantics, you’re gonna love elliot’s romance route tbh??? god he’s so sweet and corny, i love him.
Emily also does seem like really good bestie material tbh?? i wish there was a way to just be really good friends with people instead of romancing them? like maybe a pure friendship heart event type route that we could decide at some point as we’re getting to know the person. (i always feel bad sometimes getting into the romance cutscene where they tell you that they love you and you’re already married with two kids and just aaaaa)
“@dawnryze I’m so happy that you like my writing! I have another one in...”
I’m so glad to make your day! I love leaving comments, it’s just nice to be able to support art and writing. And i really do like all the prompts you have been writing. I’ve been looking forward to them all day haha. The dog mod sounds adorable, although I am very partial to getting the cat since I have a cat irl. I haven’t quite figured out how to mod Stardew but the multiplayer was the greatest thing that ever happened to me haha. I’m super excited for the next update to the game.
Your writing has been really putting me in the mood to play Stardew, or go live on a farm irl haha.
I like getting the cat too because I also have kitties of my own, but with tsuru’s story I wanted her to have a doggo instead, especially when I found the pompom mod. also if you ever do get interested it’s kinda super easy once you get it set up initially and there are some tutorials on youtube I believe. I had to help my friend with modding before too so you're totally valid! I’m also super excited about the new update and I can’t wait honestly. my friends and I are going to have so much fun with the new farm layout.
well!! one of those is definitely a lot easier than the other lol! but tbh, same. i wish i could go live on a farm some days. even with all the hard work.
also, in response to your reply on orange poppies! penny was the first girl in the game i ever married as well cuz i always run after men tbh??? they’re characterization is soooo good. elliot is my main hubby tbh and the 1st one i married so he’ll be in the day six prompt when i get to writing it, but when shane came out i totally started a new game to marry him too bc omg i love him so much.
