I'm currently planning my own tongue split and want to ask how I should prepare for it before, during and after?

I got mine done a second time at a tattoo shop, after attempting to do it myself through the fishing line method. Make sure you blend your food or have soup meal prepped. Buy Tylenol/Advil or harder painkillers if you can get them prescribed.

Don’t go alone have someone drive you to and from. Be ready for pain that starts at your jaw and vibrates through your entire chest should to shoulder. Ask to go as deep as they can, I wish I works have ahah.

Try to record it to look back on it just for fun.
