This post is a little bit different than my other posts because i am normally doing reviews or tips on skincare. In this i will be showing you the best kitchen cupboard beauty products that you will have at home. These ingredients are also great for making your own face masks.
Banana is high in vitamins and minerals so is a great way to get moisturise. You can either use it as a face mask or hair mask by mashing it into a paste. You can also add yogurt and honey to it to get a smoother texture.
Apple cider vinegar when mixed with some water can be used as a great toner. It also tightens and cleanses the skin.
Avocado can be used as a face mask or eye mask. For a face mask just mash it until smooth and add yogurt. For an eye mask slice thin wedges out of the avocado and place it under your eye. It is great to solve dark circles and to moisturise.
Yogurt contains lactic acid to tighten the skin and to create less visible pores.
Lemons can have many uses. It exfoliates, tones, brightens, moisturises, detoxifies, releases impurities, rejuvenates and gives the skin a natural vibrant glow.
Coconut oil can be used as a bath oil to sooth the skin as well as a face oil. It can also be used as a cleanser too.
Lavender is a soothing ingredient which is great for sensitive skin. It also helps sleep and calms the skin.
Cucumber is rich in vitamins, it is an antioxidant and moisturises. Many people use is it in slices over their eye when wearing a face mask.
Milk rejuvenates the skin leaving it feeling fresh.
Mayonaise calms the skin and cleanses your pores.
Mild mustard is used to stimulate skin cells for fresher looking skin. It also smoothes skin but try a small amount on your face first to make sure it won't irritate your skin.
Honey is used in lots of face masks because of its microbial properties which helps with acne. It also moisturises and helps stubborn skin.
Oats are high in nutrients, vitamins and minerals. It can be used to exfoliate dry, itchy skin or irritated skin conditions. It also helps to unclog pores.
Cinnamon stimulates the blood cells to rejuvenate skin.
