Today it was warm enough for a sunny outside playtime! ☀️
Because fresh spring grass can lead to bloat if their tummies aren’t used to it, always introduce grass in small amounts at first. These cuties had a little grass to get their tummies used to grass, then playtime in the sunshine.
Very important notes!!! Never let them eat grass that has been treated with pesticides, herbicides, or grass that has been used as a bathroom by other animals, or grass that has been exposed to gas/car fumes(next to a road etc). Always have them in an safe/enclosed space, always be at arms length (personally I just grab a blanket and sit beside them in said enclosure) & always provide shade and water.
