I tried making 'not in world' sims be the sages. using the sim id I did it successfully once for the practical sage but i can't do it anymore for the mischief and untamed. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. can you give detailed instructions on that? do iIhave to eliminate the existing sage?
I think you may have to remove sage from the existing one first, but I haven't playtested that.
Hello, thank u for your work and time! u are suck a great help with my save file proyect, i was wondering if u have the cheats for Cooperdale <3
I'm afraid I don't have the High School expansion yet, but I'll try to get them if I ever do get it. Apologies for not being able to help right now. :(
Hey! I’m the same person that asked about the Moonwood Mill bartender. Senms by replacing sims, I have completely borked Moonwood Mill. No pack leaders is the bigger deal, I found out. How do I make Rory and Kristopher pack leaders again?
Since I don't currently have the game installed, I googled it.
1. download a werewolf from the gallery, play as him and use these cheats:
traits.equip_trait trait_WerewolfPackA
traits.equip_trait trait_WerewolfPackA_Leader
(packA is Moonwood Collective, packB is Wildfangs)
2.UI won't update the changes. Go to world and mark him as unplayed.
3.Play as him again, use this cheat:
traits.equip_trait trait_WerewolfPackA_Member
4.Play your own werewolf and let your own werewolf interact with him, join the pack, and claim pack leadership if you can.
Hi! Do you know NPC role cheats for the High School pack, or is the timing to early to ask? 😅 I had updated some NPC townies and had played them for a few minutes, come to find out afterwards that they have lost their roles. Like ThriftTea owner, teacher, and also janitor. It’s hilarious, but unfortunate for me at the same time 😭
I don't currently have the game installed, so I can't grab that right now, but if you want to look it up yourself you can use Sims Info Mod. You'll want to look at her career AND hidden traits because these special NPCs usually have a trait for their career to dictate their role.
Next time I play, I'll update the cheats for this, but it might be a while.
I have a sim I've already made that I want to be the butler of my household. I thought i would be able to make them my butler, but i only got random butler everytime i hired a butler. I already use command careers. add_career Adult_NPC_Butler 79394088719295016 and the NPC already has career info as a Butler, but she never came as my butler everytime i hire a new butler. PLease help me
I've heard that cheat isn't working correctly anymore. I'll look into it next time I get a chance, but I don't have the game installed right now, so if anyone else has a fix, please let us know! :)
Hi! I wanted to start off by saying thank you so much for putting together that awesome post on changing NPC careers. I was wondering if you might be able to provide some more instructions though, bc I can't seem to get things to work properly. I've deleted sims that generated into NPC roles and assigned the career and trait to the original one (I'm trying to fix it), but the game just generates a new NPC. The sim info mod shows the original as a coworker but they do not show up.
It seems like you have a problem with the game generating NPCs and replacing your NPCs, which can be fixed using a mod that prevents game-generated Sims and stops Sims from quitting and changing jobs. I use MC Command Center for most of that. I think you want the Population controls, but you might just need to poke around a bit to find it. I personally took notes on the settings I like best because it does so much.
It is not, however, perfect. I'm a patron of Paralives because it looks like it'll give me the tweaking capabilities I've been trying and failing to cobble together in Sims 4. Paralives seems like it'll be closer to Sims 3's town customization but with powerful built-in tweaking functions (don't have to use an entirely different game to create custom lot placement! woo!). Considering how hard I work to get my starting towns just right in Sims 4 and how often I give up in frustration when the game's story progression ruins my bartender setup while I'm working on my town elsewhere (bartenders and paparazzi don't work properly using cheats, so I've actually just reloaded my game with NPC generators turned to Off in MCCC until the right jobless custom Sim is forced into the right bar job, which takes maybe half an hour each, but they always end up somewhere else while I'm not looking). One of the things I push for as a patron of Paralives is the ability to easily set up NPCs and Townies exactly how I want from the start, and the developers seem like they're building lots of ways to customize the way your game functions. It'll be a few years, but I'm very hopeful.
Hey! I was trying to create a discover university professor NPC using your list of cheats (which, thank you btw ❤ godsend) and the traits have registered but the career cheat comes up with an error when I try it. Does this happen to you as well?
I've checked the campus professors and the code for them has changed. I've updated the list with the correct code, and it ought to work now. :) There's also an extra trait for the profs now where you indicate whether that professor is A, B, or C. I'm not sure what that controls, perhaps what classes they teach, but it's a thing that wasn't there before.
Hi, I would like to appreciate and thank you for your effort in putting all those NPC cheat. for simmers like me who likes to control the whole world it is groundbreaking. thank you so much. if it is okay with you, I would like to ask a few question. is there a cheat for NAP Instructor NPC who comes to sims house and check whether they have done the NAP? and also I think the professor career cheat is not working. thank you!
careers.add_career career_Adult_NPC_EcoInspector
There's no hidden trait for it that I saw, just the career.
I'll try to figure out the professor thing tomorrow. :)
Hi, Hope you are doing well! I was wondering if you could provide the code for the N.A.P. npc ?I can't find it anywhere... Plllleeeaaassse
I haven’t tested these, just pulled them. Note that all the Civic Policy traits can be enabled by shift-clicking on the community board and selecting “Instant Enact Neighborhood Action Plan.” It will add the relevant traits to the Sims who live in that neighborhood. I haven’t tested to see if they work independently of that function.
Summer and North only put healthy things in their bodies and have healthy hobbies like yoga. They adore all-natural clothes and food, and they don't believe in restricting love or the physical expressions of it. They even refuse to get their greyhound, Indigo, fixed because it's not like he can consent, and animals have rights too.

Sul Sul Simmies, You know that feeling when you’re really excited about finding CC only to click on the link and get taken to a “not found” page? But you really wanted it so bad? Well, the good news is, if you didn’t already know, there are places where you can find a collection of […]

There’s another life simulation game slowly coming together, started by a fan of the Sims. I support its development on Patreon and find that they’re really responsive to feedback. They host patron-only quizzes and request thoughts on types of features.
If you’re excited by their previews (see links below), consider spending $3 a month to help them hire more staff.
Hi thank you for the NPC cheat codes. Awesome site you have. BTW last week I installed NPCC mod & had problems. So I uninstalled. My played households are filling NPC jobs. Do you have a cheat or way to remove the job? Any help is much appreciated :)
careers. remove_career [career name] [SimID]
Use the Show Sim Info mod to get the specific career text you’ll have to use to remove it.
Get SimID using sims.get_sim_id_by_name [First Name] [Last Name]
I’ve had to give proper jobs to pretty much all of the Sims I don’t want to fill NPC jobs so they’ll no longer be shuffled through. If you have specific Sims you want filling a job, I’ve found it easiest to let the game randomly generate a Sim, then do the following:
Play as the Sim you want them to look like/be.
Click Sim --> MC Command Center --> CAS --> Copy/Paste
Copy everything you can from your Sim, paste it onto the NPC.
I also do the Paste Tray Sim option, but doing only that doesn’t fully change the NPC’s looks for me. It seems to grab things that copying traits alone doesn’t cover, though.
(If your Sim is not the right age or gender, cas.fulleditmode and change that before copy/pasting anything.)
Click Sim --> MC Command Center --> Dresser --> Copy/Paste
Copy everything you can from your Sim, paste it onto the NPC.
Delete the played version, leaving the NPC.
Don’t copy/paste traits or Tray Sim on paparazzi, it’s the only NPC I’ve had trouble with. Looks and clothes work, though.
