Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly is the second entry in the Coffee Talk series. The gameplay in this game is self-explanatory: you make coffee, and you talk!

It's a really chill visual novel where regulars would drop in your café every night with their own stories and struggles, you'd make them a warm beverage and give them a listening ear.

The art style and the music in this game really bring everything together, if that makes sense. It's crafted perfectly to fit the café vibe, especially since it's rainy most nights in the game. There's also a lot of love put into the drink designs, with most drinks having their own unique design based on the person and situation!

If you're feeling burnt out, but still want to engage in something fun, I highly recommend this game :] It's not complex, but it still requires focus and attention. For me, it kinda made me feel motivated to get back into my hobbies after playing it. and especially try practicing pixel art haha

Milano's Odd Job Collection

⪻────𖤓────⪼ Milano is an 11-year-old girl who wanted to spend her summer vacation at her uncle's, only to realize he was away on vacation! So she tries her best to take responsibility, spending her 40 days working part-time jobs to earn money, which she then uses to decorate the house with the absolute cutest items :> The game was originally released in Japan only back in 1999 and has recently made its way globally thanks to Marvelous/XSEED! The emulation was really well done in my opinion, and I think this game deserves way, way more love for the effort that went into delivering this gem to us.

This Game consists of 8 mini-games that rotate daily, and you can unlock harder difficulties or more locations by mostly doing chores around the house at the end of the day. You can work as a nurse, dishwasher, popstar, and many more >.0 The controls are somewhat simplistic, but with harder difficulties, some of the mini-games had me stressing xD

What really drew me to this game (aside from it being a refreshing mini-games-focused game) was the artstyle! It's hands down the cutest I've seen in a while, and from the moment I saw it, I was like I HAVE TO GET THIS XD, and I was even more in awe for how much detail and love went into this game, seriously!! The animations are really smooth, and you get to see it clearly when you're back in Milano's house, drinking tea or doing the laundry. This game reminded me of why I love pixel art so much TvT...

Sea of Stars takes you on the adventure of two solstice warriors, and their warrior cook friend, journeying to save the worlds and ascend after years of practice. - This game easily became one of my Top 3 games for this year, maybe even my favourite! From its lovely art and smooth animations to its great music and interesting story-telling, it's hard to find a thing to hate about this game (for me at least) I took my time exploring and talking to every NPC I came across x3 Oh and I LOVED the mini-games!! - Playtime: 60hrs (100% completion) -average is 40hrs- Overall rating: 9.5/10 Difficulty: 6/10 Story: 9/10 Gameplay: 10/10 Art style: 9/10 - Screenshots:

Turnip Boy commits tax evasion is a journey of ripping up legal documents, collecting cool hats, and meeting oppressed veggies all while trying to take your greenhouse back from the onion mayor; who giving you unnecessary labor as a payback for not doing your taxes (which he informed on everyone btw)

I ended up finishing this game in two sittings. It's pretty short, with a small map that makes it easy to encounter most npcs or find collectables. The writing style was one of my favourite aspects of the game, and it made me want to chat with any veggie I came across. Instead of repetitive, similar lines that most games give their npcs, it's refreshing to see something different :] My one complaint though is trying to get the last achievement(without spoiling it), which was based on luck. It took about 30-40 minutes before I finally got it! '^^

Melon Journey is an adventure of a melon soda company employee searching for their friend. Later encountering many unique characters and learning more about the secret of m e l o n s !!

I bought this game on a whim but ended up fishing it in one sitting the moment I opened it. The writing is so good, it had me laughing out loud so many times during my playthrough. The characters are adorable and loveable, most of them at least c:. Completing all achievements only took me 5hrs!! I highly recommend this if you're looking for something heart-warming, and combat-free to play ^^

The main character is a young kid who becomes friends with a lil birdy early on the game, and they start their journey in making the mc regain his memory. They end up forming many friendships with almost everyone they come across and help out in heaven. I've been looking for a fishing-focused game for too long, and this was a pretty good find to me. The story was short, no filler dialogue and no stamina or day cycle to worry about! I can turn off my mind while playing and maybe watch a YouTube video or a tv show. My only complaint is that near the end, completing the power-ups (for 100% completion) was starting to feel tedious, and a bit pointless since I've already finished all main and side quests. ✧༺♥༻∞✧༺♥༻∞✧༺♥༻∞✧༺♥༻∞✧༺♥༻∞✧༺♥༻∞✧༺♥༻∞
