Do you ship to the USA, if so, what are your prices on mosses? Also what kind of moss would be better for a big driftwood log, Java or Willow? And are these mosses fast growing? I need to cover a decent size log. thanks
Sorry I'm no longer running this blog or selling aquatic plants, I just left it open as people were still re blogging the pictures. Java is the quickest growing moss but to send it from England would cost a lot anyway. Try buying it on eBay or Aqua bid. Also if it's a large log I'd recommend using aquatic plant glue instead of string as it will be easier for you to do. Seachem make a really good one.
A friend of mine from UKBBA is selling his betta barracks wall system!
It holds 128 containers and comes with everything you see in the pictures.
The system is in full working order meaning that the Bettas are constantly supplied with filtered heated water in their individual containers. I believe this system also comes with a UV filter.
Grab yourself a real bargain on this one £200
location is skewen, Neath port talbot, south wales, UK
Any enquiries feel free to contact me via message here or by email and I will pass on any serious buyers to Stephen.
Feel free to reblog as signal boost! Thanks guys!
UK bred Halfmoon Betta Splendens FOR SALE
Hi guys,
unfortunately due to personal reasons the sad day has come and I must give up betta breeding for now. I am slowly selling off all of my stock until I am left with just my fries that are growing out, after that they will also be for sale. I currently have males and females available, the main colours that I trade are: White/cellophane
Pink
Yellow
If you are interested in buying any bettas from me please feel free to contact me via the message function or via email ([email protected]) I am located in Cambridge, UK and am happy for people to pick up from me or I can post anywhere within the UK for £12 up to 5 fish, I do not post outside of the UK. Thank you
My one and only DT male.
it's nice to see this guy is still circulating!

One of my newest males bought from my good friend Sherwin.
An example of what you can do with the willow moss that I sell :)

Ariel. My main breeder male
I've been getting quite a lot of stick recently about tagging some of my photos HM when the fish are not necessarily at full flare. Funnily enough the people that were moaning will not show their names but here is proof that the fish they were picking out are full halfmoons. A halfmoon betta does not constantly show 180c spread but only when they flare, I do not only take photos of my Bettas flaring, please take this into consideration. Not all of my Bettas are halfmoon but all of them have full halfmoon genes (bred from HM x HM), I generally only breed from full HM males.
Barracks is finally at a temperature that I'm happy with.
Two days ago we found out that we need to move out of our flat within the next five weeks. Because of that I've began stripping down a few of my tanks that I don't desperately need to have running. Rather than getting down in the dumps about it I decided to use it to my advantage and neaten up with a new paint job. Watch this space :)
Most fish in your halfmoon tag... especially the first male on the second page. HM beta are 180Ė + and most of your seem to be SD.
i'm fully aware of what halfmoon means, anon. If you could be more specific then I will check and re-tag. 'most fish' is incorrect. Also take into concideration what a juvenile halfmoon male looks like, the pink male I posted yesterday is only 2.5 months old, you can tell he will reach halfmoon by his caudal spread.
A lot of the fish you tag as halfmoon are actually Delta/Superdeltas.
I do have a couple of SDs but I don't think I've mistagged. Which ones specifically?
Big thanks to my good friend Sherwin for selling me these two beautiful young HMs yesterday! They are both fully uk bred by him.
