How to: Moss Wall??
This is an idea I've been thinking about for a while now so this is more of a hypothesis than a tutorial lol
Okay! So there is a way to get a moss carpet started by using string to tie moss to a small square of window screen.
That's the bitch.
I want to expand this idea
So a piece of window screen the size of the back wall of the tank. Place all kinds of moss and epiphyte plants, like java fern and anubias, by using a needle and string to secure moss and super glue to secure the epiphyte plants.
Use suction cups to secure the whole thing to the glass
Add accent rocks in the back to make it look more natural idk
Like I said in a different post you can use cyanoacrylate super glue to attach plants to something, or secure string.
Apparently this is already a thing, but I think it'd be cooler with a bunch of different plants instead of just one type of moss.
I love this idea. My only thoughts regarding why it may not work in the long run is the possibility of discoloration of the moss. The top of the moss wall may end up discolored due to being so directly in contact with the light. Also, with all aquarium backgrounds thereâs the concern that fish may end up stuck behind it. Especially using the suction cup method there will be a gap between the mesh and the aquarium glass.

New variant not in America. Caridina sp. Stardust. Created by Ben Buckley on Facebook.
Oh my gosh!!! I want these
A lovely little example of the Betta splendens complex! (I couldnât trace it back to the original, though, so if anyone knows that, hit me up so I can properly credit this. All I know is that itâs from Betta Thailand.)
Even within these species, thereâs some variation depending on what regions the fish reside in and selective breeding within the hobby, but this is a basic look at them in general.
Itâs because of hybridizing these guys that we have the pet store bettas we have today.

Somebody decided she wasnât going to be a chill Betta anymore and ate some of her buddies, so Lydia gets her own house now. More plants will be added once my Petco gets some in.
