I hope you’re happy with yourself. The town seems to be officially into Christmas cheer. You can’t turn a corner without seeing something for Winter Wonderland.
I know, it’s breathtaking, all we need now is snow and it will be perfect. I can’t take all the credit for it though. Seems I’m not the only one with the Christmas spirit. What about you, you have your place decorated yet?

Never one for tackiness Santana. If the whole shop thing doesn’t work out, you got a lot of potential in interior design. Any chance you could do mine? I spend like an hour and a half tangled up in lights while trying to detangle them. Note to self, buy a fake tree with the lights already attached.
Actually yes, we are making a bunch of Christmas wreaths to sell. Beth is such a good little helper she went out and collected a bunch of pinecones for them.

Personally I’m a fan of bling - the sparkly the better, nothing makes for a cheerier holiday season…also random bunches of mistletoe hidden in doorways around town, it’ll either be just a little sexy or incredibly hilarious to watch depending on the combination of people to get stuck under them.
Yule’s a few days beforehand though so we should do something for that. Maybe a bonfire somewhere out in one of the clearings, something traditional to celebrate the suns yearly rebirth - you could bring Beth too since it’s totally safe and kind of on the tame side as far as rituals go.
As long as I don’t get trapped under one myself, maybe map out the locations so I can avoid them. My luck I’d get trapped with Mr. Johnson instead of someone I’d actually want to kiss.
That could work, it might run a little too late for Beth, her bedtime is around 7 or 8pm, but I could make an exception. Just nothing to far out, you know the rules. I don’t want anything we do to scare her.

You and Beth - and your mother, of course - are invited to Hanukkah this year. As devout as you are to your practices, Beth should learn her whole heritage at some point, and while Hiram does the best retelling of the story of Hanukkah, I can do a pretty decent job at it too.
No offensive Rach, but my mother is so devout I think she’d burn up at the mere touch of anything Judaism related. But you are right, there’s been a lot of Beth’s heritage that I have kept her from, intentionally or not. I really have no knowledge about Hanukkah myself.

Sure, we could come up with a whole setlist of songs? A nice mix of Religious and non-religious songs. Maybe we could talk to Rachel and add a hanukkah song or two. I’m assuming they have songs for that.

I don’t have a cellar but I do have a closet under the stairs to our flat. Not very roomy but you could pretend to be Harry Potter.
Hypothetically, if someone were to ride too quickly over one of the not-so-maintained sidewalks, fly off the side, and end up breaking the front wheel of her bike; would that be something that could be fixed, or would a new bike be in order?
Asking for a friend, I swear.
But also, I hope everyone has has a less weird day than me. Less than a month until Christmas, and about one month until we say hello to 2017!

I’m not an expert on bikes but I would think it just depends on how it broke off. Like you said, Christmas is almost a month away so maybe you will get a new bike.

Yeah, and… I know it’s been years and bygones have been bygones for quite some time, but I’m still sorry about all that.
It’s nothing. I’m a terrible psychic and now I’m being all cryptic which is against everything I believe in. I’ve just… seen her, in dreams. Nothing bad, of course, otherwise I would absolutely tell you. They’re actually the more peaceful dreams I’ve had lately. I know you’re trying to let her live a life away from the Corcoran school, so I shouldn’t even pry.

We can all dream. I tried a spell a few nights ago because I thought maybe if we could just talk to her still it would somehow be all right, but I got nothing - it was like total radio silence…not even a whisper.
You kinda lucked out in the power department - what I wouldn’t give to be able to banish away the stress lines with a thought or a flick of my hand.
Nothing? I thought about trying it. We could try all of us doing it together? Like the ancient proverbs say, we are stronger together. Especially with Marley. We could see her again...ask her what happened.
Lucked out? Because other then for vanity and slight manipulation it doesn’t have much of a purpose compared to everyone else’s. Please, you don’t need glamour magic to look good.
