Honestly the funniest thing about Hyuk has to be the question of like. What the hell is he evening doing at this point? Look, I get it. 10 years ago it was a really smart idea to get involved with the Hans to score himself chances at success he wouldn't have had otherwise. But that was a decade ago. He's a fully fledged prosecutor with his own reputation to his name by now and, while I also agree that at least keeping his connection to the Hans upright can prove beneficial, does he really have to do that much still? Bro is FULLY invested in everything Kihwan and Joowon have going on girl you can do so much better than jumping at their every back and call I promise. Cutting himself off from hkh at the end of the show clearly isn't actually an issue for him anymore, my guy was just sticking around for the hell of it or what? Insane thing to do.

beyond evil rewatch thoughts

juwon in episode one half-heartedly, dare i say, forced out of duty, helping dongsik to find bang ho-cheol after the elderly ran away from home.

juwon in episode two with the two of them helping shin seokgu, someone who is intellectually disabled, who was away from home too, but this time he has a contemplative expression.

then in episode sixteen, juwon's work and duty he chose to do is to find people, elders with dementia just like bang hocheol and disabled just like shin seokgu, who ran away from home.

juwon saw how dongsik was never exhausted in finding people, how he went to seoul in the middle of the night to find minjeong, how much effort he exerted just to find yuyeon and in the process he also played a part in finding jaeyi's mother and all the women that was killed by jinmook.

and juwon saw how those people also needs a dongsik in their lives. someone who is never exhausted in finding them. someone who thinks they can be found. someone who will actually find them.
