A/N: This is as much of a feel-good story as I can write late at night. Haha. I hope you all like it!

My Master List

You sighed as you stared at the drab bunker ceiling. Your body was practically aching from exhaustion, but you mind was racing. Random, deep-rooted memories flashed through you, some causing your heart to pound with regret. This lifestyle had really been taking a toll on you lately, and you knew it was only going to get worse.

You pulled the scratchy, plaid blanket up to your chin and sighed. You could go back to your room, but Dean was snoring to heavily on the other side of the wall. You typically fell asleep before him, but tonight, you just couldn’t get your mind to shut off.

Grabbing your phone beside you, you unlocked the screen and checked the time. 3:34am.

What the fuck

I really can understand if someone is unhappy with the ending. That's fine, because everyone has their own imagination of how the show should have ended. I really can understand that people are upset about Dean's death, about Cas and Eileen, about missing out opportunities.

What I can't understand, that you dump a whole fandom. That you give up on everything you have experiencend with the cast, the crew the #spnfamily. People, who call themselves fans, suddenly naming the show shit and dump and are regretting that they have spend years watching it. Just because of one episode, that didn't live up to the expectation they have on how the show ends.

To me this behavior is unfair and childish.

Endings are hard, sad, unfulfilling.... Even unsatisfying....

I just don't get how you can throw all those positive memories and experiences into a trashcan.

I'm seeing nothing but hate for an episode that moved me so much. The finale of a show I've loved for years, a cast I've loved for years, all culminated into this. Yes its had its ups and downs but doesnt everything? Did I expect this? No. Did it shock me? Yes. Did it break my heart? Damn right it did.

Why can we not just let people enjoy things, cry over things, be wowed or underwhelmed or whatever you feel, without turning vicious?

Don’t get me wrong. I bawled my eyes out & yelled at my TV when it happened.

But I loved the ep as a whole.

SO if you want to come express fannish delight over the ep, come talk to me. It had so much awesomeness in it & I love it.

Thank you! Oh my gosh it's so nice to hear this. I honestly was a sobbing wreck throughout 90% of it, at one point I had to stop because I couldnt hear what they were saying over my crying 🙈 but I thought it was a really fitting ending for the boys. Did I wish Dean got to live a long happy life too? Yes. Am I happy that he got to say everything he wanted to Sam and they were both at peace and together at the end? That's all I hoped for.

Also, all the little references to the earlier seasons, the roadhouse etc. MA HEART.

Oh, I was ugly sobbing, hardcore! Like, I think I may have scared my neighbors. LOL But it was so good.

I kind of think it was perfect that Dean died as he did/when he did. He got to let Sammy go - told him he loved him, was proud of him. He went down fighting. We’d seen before that Dean was not great at living that apple-pie, family life without Sam. So he gets to Heaven & goes for a relaxed drive, at peace, while he waits.

Sam gets to live the life he always wanted when he was younger. And Dean doesn’t wait forever (hooray for the whole “time works differently here” mechanism), so they’re back together again. Smiling. Happy.

Considering everything, I really think this was the perfect ending. It wraps up so much, so well, without overpowering it.

everyone, every damn year: yeah they need money to operate and it's free to use, so

dingbats: oh REALLY. well what are they using the money for, it could be going anywhere
