what time will the roster be out?

9 PM PST, that’s 10 PM MST, 11 PM CST, and 12 AM EST!

Hey everyone!

We apologize for the short notice, but we're pleased to announce that roster will go up at 9:00 PM PST tonight. That's in about a little less than two hours, and it's 10:00 PM MST, 11:00 PM CST, and 12:00 PM EST. Thank you for your patience and interest, and to all who applied.

Is the 9th still the day? If so, do you know what time of day the roster will be released?

We are on track with our preparations as is it stands, so as of right now it looks like we will be able to do roster reveal on the 9th as planned!

This is barring anything coming up modside that prevents that, ofc.

As for what time, we unfortunately can’t say for sure. I know I’m going to be out most of the day, so it really just depends on when everything is finished and the post is ready.

Sorry we can’t be specific with anything at this time, but we’re all real busy with school and work and we don’t want to give a half-assed release.

So in an anon ask, I said roster reveal would be done by this Sunday, and it turns out I spoke for the whole team too soon.

So this is the official announcement:

We’re aiming for February 9th to make our roster reveal.

Due to business with school and work for all of the mods involved, things aren’t moving at the pace I expected them to, so I’m truly sorry about the misinformation. In other news, Mai is working on a project for roster reveal, so I hope we can leave you all with something to look forward too!

Once again from the time out corner, I am truly sorry for giving false information.

In my half asleep typing of the announcement last night because timezones I forgot to add the most important detail! Within the week. I can't give a more specific time than that but before midnight PST Sunday. Hopefully sooner so we can get started. But we're working on it whenever we have free time so expect to hear from us soon(trademark)

The time is now 12:00 AM PST, and applications for BDB3 are now closed! Thank you all for applying! Now all that’s left is for us to finish the judging process and reveal our roster!

Our final roster is going to consist of 20 students, including mod characters, which means at the end of the day we’ll only be accepting 17 apps. For a group that has been saying that we were going to have a roster size of 20-30 going bare minimum is probably very disappointing, but the mod team has spent a lot of time discussing this, and due to 2 of the mods being much busier than anticipated when we first began, we had to make this difficult decision. We felt it was only right to let you know now than shock everyone when we revealed our roster.

With that, I’d like to thank all of our applicants yet again for their wonderful apps, and we look forward to rping with some of you soon!

An Update

As of now, the applicants list is up to date with all applications we’ve received! If your application is not on this list, you will need to resubmit it. We’ve received very few asks about the list being up to date, so we haven’t regularly posted updates to the front page. But seeing as we’re coming into the final stretch, I’m gonna make the extra effort to update it when we receive an app.

I'm on mobile right now and cant check it, however aside from one app I haven't added yet (SHSL Kemono Artist) the list should be current with what we've recieved. If your app isnt on there you'll need to resend it!-mod Crobat

Beyond Despair’s Bounds 3: Cinereus is a submission-based Dangan Ronpa group focusing on fantasy and science-fiction elements running on a two-week cycle. Taking a cast of about 20-30 students and placing them in a new setting with NPCs and a focus on investigation and character interaction. Applications are currently open, and will close on January 29th, 11:59 PM PST.

Just to make absolutely sure that I'm not mistaken - at the optional prompt part, it's said that we can either do at least one prompt OR link a character blog of ours. Does it matter which character blog? Like, can we link to our hopeful's blog whom we've used in a previous rp already?

As long as it contains a clear sample of your ability to write your muse, you can link a hopeful blog in place of an optional prompt!

How many apps are we allowed to submit?

Thou shalt submit 1 app, then 3. But thou shalt not submit 2 unless it comest between 1 and 3. If you submit 4 then you hast gone too far, and 5 is right out...I mean, you can submit 2 if you like. But no more than 3. Please let us know in advance if you want to submit extra apps though !-Mod Cro
