Poppy Playtime AU where almost everything is the same except for the fact that Molly, Elliot’s wife is the Prototype, aka “The Matriarch”, as she goes on to call herself.
I don’t have much, but here’s what I do have:
Elliot and Molly never divorced, and Oliver is their biological child. Both he and Poppy end dying at some point, leaving Molly extremely grief-stricken and depressed.
One day, Elliot would tell her about his plan to bring Poppy and Oliver back, but can't seem to find a good subject to start with. Molly, clearly not thinking straight, offers herself; Elliot tries to protest, saying that he's not sure what will happen and that he doesn't want to risk losing her as well, but she's too stubborn to listen and just wants her kids back.
Poppy and Ollie are brought back after the work done on Molly; they would be revived through the same vat of Poppy Gel at the same time, causing their souls to be partially connected, even when they separated to be put into their new toy bodies. However, this comes with the side effect of very noticeable separation anxiety from either party if one gets too far from the other for too long.
