I think every lesbian who says she wouldn't date a bi woman is functionally on the same wavelength as men who say they would only marry a virgin

I love being bisexual
After having experienced a shit ton of biphobia a few months ago, I think I realized the root of it. Biphobes don't see bi women as queer. They see us as straight girls with a fetish (or alternatively, as comphet lesbians). They cannot comprehend that you can actually be romantically and sexually attracted to both men and women. I was accused of "fetishizing lesbians" just because I enjoy sapphic content. When I am literally a woman attracted to women, and having a boyfriend doesn't make that attraction invalid. Accusing bi women of "fetishizing lesbians" sounds as ridiculous as accusing us of fetishizing straight men. And yeah, that same person also accused me of being a comphet lesbian (lol)
Dear bi girls, your attraction to women AND your attraction to men are valid. Don't let anyone tell you that you're a straight girl with a fetish, or a confused lesbian deep in the closet. You know who you are better than anyone. You're bi and that's beautiful 💖💜💙
i love bisexuals who don’t conform to society’s view of gender!!! i love nonbinary and trans bisexuals and bisexuals on HRT or who’ve had top/bottom surgery! he/she bisexuals, she/they and he/they bisexuals, bisexuals who use all pronouns or neopronouns! butch/femme bisexuals and gender nonconforming ones!!! i love all of you!!!
[to the tune of the activia commercials] ✨ biphobia ✨
and also just straight up misogyny
I am relieved to see this petition. Please sign
all of you better be nice to bi girls this month or I'll blow this whole place up
if my relationship is how you view my queerness was i ever queer in your eyes to begin with?
I see alot of biphobia lately and most of it is bi eraser because being bi is always about proving it, isn't it?
Like being bi only exists when your single, if im dating a man than I'm straight but if I'm dating a woman than I'm gay.
I remember telling a friend that I'm afraid of ending up in a relationship with *any* gender, because no matter what - my identity and journey as a bisexual would still be erased.
But that's the thing no matter who i end up with ,im still bi.
If being with a woman is the proof that im queer than you never saw me as queer.
If being with a man makes me less queer than you never saw me as queer.
Because im still bi, nothing changes but the person i date and being queer isn't about the identity of who you date but your identity.
biphobia and bi-eraser *is* a problem in the community and should be talked about,
Because even in pride month you still need to prove you are "queer enough".
Also bi struggles are still queer struggles and acting like bisexuals can't speak up because it's "nothing" compared to other struggles in the community is ridiculous.
I agree, biphobia is so dumb and tired. but you dare say sum even criticizing lesbians, and they will call you "lesbophobic" quick asf but yall can call bi women, bi men "fake gay" or yall call bi men "gay" so WHICH ONE IS IT?!?!
hey. you have to love your trans brothers of color okay. and your trans sisters of color. and your nonbinary siblings of color. you have to okay. its simply non-optional
For Pride I wanna say this particularly for queer women and enbies:
Your queernes is not any less valid just because:
You're dating a man or have dated a man.
You have been touched by a man (consentually or not).
You're also attracted to men.
I wanna add that you're not "tainted" because you were touched by a man or men (again consentually or not).
Bisexuals aren't any less queer just because they're also attracted to men. Or happen to date a man after they broke up with a woman.
Lesbians aren't any less of a lesbian just because they have gotten married to a man and have had children, and then later on found out that they are a lesbian.
Not everyone has had the luxury of knowing immediately what their identity is. For some it doesn't take that much time, for others it takes more time.
And that's okay.
