by the way. i don’t think i ever actually posted about this. but ryan’s answer at the upfronts about looking forward to eddie supporting buck with theo is making me think about the interaction i had with him during autographs at rvnj

i was first in line bc of a schedule conflict. approached him with The diner still (below) for him to sign. he told me 9x13 is his favorite episode of the entire season & after we bonded over the fact that it was mine too, he looked at me before handing the picture back, tapped it, and said “hopefully we get more of this”

it is very important for me that Buck was the one to stay with Eddie in the hospital. not even going home to change out of his uniform like Buck was NOT leaving

the last episode deserves a lot of criticism but they nailed this moment. I don't blame Buck for not checking in on Eddie during the episode cuz like he wasn't in the waiting room, he had shit to do + Maddie was with him on the phone from the moment he knew there was a shooter to the very end. AND he was the first one to notice Eddie's absence SECONDS after meeting the rest of the team

that man cares about Eddie so much I am not falling for buddie dooming propaganda

okay okay god. remember when eddie and buck didn't know how to deal with the idea of being separated. and they were both so upset in so many different ways. and eddie was jealous of a dog. and also. eddie was like i'm always going to put my son first as if buck was a jealous disgruntled mistress. because eddie didn't know how to explain that he was leaving a chunk of his own bleeding beating alive heart behind in los angeles. while looking at said chunk of his heart. and he didn't want to go but he felt like he had to go. and then buck was like i'm going to move in for safekeeping even if it kills me. and they hugged in the rain and they facetimed all day every day and. bobby knew all along that eddie and chris would come back and now bobby's dead. and both eddie and buck know that bobby knew
