I know everyone loves the dark, toxic, and rough side of Mattheo, but we really need to acknowledge his trauma more. He grew up in an abusive and VERY toxic home, and that has had a big effect on his mental state and his personality.

He flinches when people raise their voice. Sometimes he’ll freeze in fights when he gets hit because it reminds him of his father. He constantly worries that he’s not good enough, or that his friends will get mad at him for even slightly messing up. He has nightmares about his father. He’s easily frightened. He hates physical touch (unless the person is given consent beforehand). He has trouble sleeping. He might have chronic pain. He has panic attacks.

I know you guys love the dark side of Mattheo, but please don’t forget that he’s been abused his entire life and is extremely traumatized.

( I wish I could draw like I use to. model is the closest to her face and hair I could get , not too much her body - cause Ezra is muscular with tattoos covering most her and she always wheres a leather jacket or coat of some sort with long sleeves , sometimes a shirt!
