“you know,” she paused for a moment to take a sip of her rosé, a huge grin on her lips, she was rather tipsy at this point. “i really made an effort to be nice to people today and you know where it got me? nowhere,” she let out a large laugh, it was a rather random statement but she felt it needed to be said. “like listen... i opened a door for a bunch of these teenage boys and you know what one of them said to me? ‘thanks hot stuff, can i have your number?’... like it was gross as fuck,” she shook her head, “i know i have a baby face and look sixteen but come on, you’re fucking children, please don’t hit on me,” she rolled her eyes, gulping down another sip of wine. “anyways... what did you get up to this week? i swear, i’ve hardly seen you.”

“𝐇𝐄𝐘, 𝐇𝐄𝐘, 𝐇𝐄𝐘,” 𝐁𝐀𝐌𝐁𝐈 beckoned, waving them over quickly as she slug her leather jacket over her shoulders, “will you.. and i’m saying pretty pretty please, walk me home? there’s this creep that’s been here my entire shift, and he went out to smoke a cigarette once he realized tawny was clocking me out.” sucking in a sigh, the tiny female ran a hand through her hair. it wasn’t as if she wasn’t used to this, she’d been working there for a little less than ten years now, but she didn’t want to risk getting the cops called on her because she broke another old man’s nose, “i would say we can stay and have a drink, but — peer pressure n’ all, i’m already planning on spider monkey myself to you if you say no.” she gave a sympathetic smile, “see? i’m being nice. pleaaaase?”

was bianca hearing bambi correctly? the brunette really only came in for her favourite serving of fries and a coke but she forgot the fact that there was a possibility of bambi working, nonetheless she was humoured by her request. “uh... sure?” she wasn’t completely heartless, it was late and she’d never forgive herself if the creep she was referring to did something to her. “but i’m not in the mood for chit-chat, i’ve had a long day,” she muttered, finishing her last chip from her little bag of fries, waiting for the girl to catch up to her.

if there’s someone who can match his pettiness it’s bianca. the pair hasn’t spoken since the fight over the whole ‘getting arrested’ fiasco. cam misses her, but hell would have to freeze over for him to apologize first. after all she’s the one that was talking shit behind his back to his sister. he’s definitely surprised when she approaches him first. “ cool. ” he says taking a sip from his beer. he taps his fingers on the bottle hoping that she doesn’t notice how nervous he is. “ do you hate me ? ”

there was something off about cameron, was he nervous? she wasn’t entirely sure, she hadn’t really seen cameron nervous before so she couldn’t tell what emotion he was feeling. she nodded her head slowly, looking over at cameron, her gaze falling to his fingers as they tapped against the glass, a sigh leaving her lips at his question. “no... i don’t,” she replied coldly, nudging him with her leg, “i’m still annoyed though,” she admitted, scrunching her nose. “thought we were friends and talked about things such as getting arrested but whatever,” she shrugged, looking down at her lap, being petty once again.

not that the fight she had with cameron was bad or anything but she still felt a bit on edge in their little home. were they okay? were they best buds again? she couldn’t be too sure. stepping out into the living room, she noticed cameron sitting on the couch, drinking a beer. pretty standard situation for cam to be in if she said so herself. “hey,” she greeted awkwardly, sitting down beside him, making sure there was well and truly enough room between the two, setting a boundary just in case he was still pissed with her. “i ordered pizza, should be here soon,” she told him softly, looking over at him, scanning his face for any sort of response, she found it hard to read him.
