He flailed an arm toward the stars." #TheDreamThieves by #MaggieStiefvater ••• I've heard quite a few of people saying that The Dream Thieves is their favorite out of the three books that have been released. However, I have to disagree on that one. See, I love The Raven Boys MORE than The Dream Thieves (gasp!). It's not that I think this is a bad book, but in my opinion it lacked the things that made me fall in love with the first book, the chilling eeriness and the mysterious vibe. This book is rather heavy on the action, it's very gripping and fast-paced and I can see why others like this book so much. Another plus side is I love how Ronan's backstory and character is explored-that reveal about his family is AWESOME and Ronan is now my second favorite Raven boy. I also love how Blue and Gansey's relationship evolved (as expressed by the quote above) since I didn't think Adam would be the right fit for Blue (um, I kinda hate Adam's whiny ass 😂). In addition to the absence of the eery vibes, my main complaints about The Dream Thieves are (a) The Gray Man is a lousy villain, Kavinsky is by far the superior one and (b) a certain scene with Blue and Noah was pretty unnecessary and awkward as f. My Huntley Fitzpatrick books! (still missing The Boy Most Likely To though, which I can't wait to get my hands on). I loved What I Thought Was True, it's a perfect summer read with depth to it and a gorgeous setting.
