Just because you don't have a "thing" to show for all your hard work, does not mean you weren't working very hard. Plenty of things like clarity, knowledge, or balance, are not tangible, but very worthwhile

I’m curious that someone can have such a keen interest in a particular subject, or person, or activity. Etc. And sometimes, the people around them never learn about it.

The benefits of my work-partner being nearly double my age is that I listen and trust in her points of view as a mother. She has two daughters that are a few years younger than me. She tells me about them sometimes, and I offer alternative perspectives that may support her to understand them better. In turn, she listens to my life/point of view, and vice versa, offers her perspective and advice based on her own experience.

We have a really lovely working relationship where we both being different skills, qualities, preferences, and experiences to the table. (:
