i kind of hesitated a lot to post this but i do see it as a positive note more than a negative one
but jock clear was recently asked what does he think charles' biggest weakness is and he very eloquently said that it's unfair to even note it as a weakness because of how ferrari operates but charles needed to "lead" the team ala schumacher style but he's been doing that especially since last year with lewis' arrival
and a part of me noted that change but i thought it was just a silly little fanatical observation but charles genuinely have become the perfect driver in the past year or so and no rain is not his weakness it was this little flaw of impulsive decisions coming out of desperation and anger that the team wasn't listening to him
but it seems like something shifted last year they started listening and a part of it was his utter display on track at keeping a 7 wdc driver that was supposed to come and sweep him away at bay but it was also maturity
he's a well and true leader even in times of distress when we had a horrible stretch of races with no podiums last year, he was keeping the team afloat and pushing them into the right direction he never complained he never called ferrari incompetent and he never called himself that too
he's now more confident in his abilities than ever and you'd know that by looking at his results in china this year (a boogie track that never served him well) like he's so painfully ready to lead ferrari back to the top with even with an AI designed championship to the point that i have no doubt he could turn around a deficit in points if ferrari ever get the car within two tenths of mercedes
and before you say it yes you're right ferrari should've been listening 8 years ago but here we fucking are and they just need to deliver now
