I hate the narrative that Jiang Cheng sacrificed his golden core for Wei Wuxian. He didn’t.

Jiang Cheng tried to distract the soldiers so WWX could escape. He didn’t think about the consequences, and he never offered his core.

Wei Wuxian did.

WWX walked to the forest knowing exactly what he was going to do. He lay there for hours while his core was removed with no pain relief, knowing he would never be whole again. He endured years of scrutiny from the cultivation world, letting them paint him as a villain to protect Jiang Cheng.

Jiang Cheng made a split-second decision hoping he could escape. He couldn’t, and he lost his core.

Sorry I don't care that Mercedes supplies engines for 4 teams. If the other teams were all able to make engines within regulations then you can too. And I don't care if it passes the ambient tests if their loophole has everything to do with what it does when running during a race. If a car can get disqualified for being slightly underweight then it should get disqualified for the engine. I don't know what the compromise should be and I won't pretend to think I know, but it can't be leaving them be with a shitty promise to not do it next season
