Not the prettiest. Not the latest and greatest. Not expensive. But perfection for me.
Just some shots from a local car show. So nice to see something more then just showroom hotrods.
Hmmmm, interesting concept.

This looks as good as it goes
Look what came to visit at the store... Yes a replica but still sweet
Adding a few enhancements to this 2025 Harley-Davidson Fatboy. I for one am glad to see chrome making a comeback. Maybe not all chrome, but not all black either.

I bought my Ecoboost Mustang to autocross with and I did . My intentions were to have a street/track car which I did successfully. But life gets in the way and this change so I haven't autocrossed for a few years now. But I did have a pull against this 5.0 and was pleasantly surprised. Stoplight to stoplight the Ecoboost pulls on the 5.0. Got me thinking, Florida roads are so boringly straight, if I'm not going to track it why not street/strip? It is more inline as to where I want to take the car anyway. Time to start planning...
Why is it that we look back on what we had so fondly? I always had a love hate relationship with this. A 1997 SLP Camaro SS Z28 with too many goodies. Fun on the track but I hated it on the street. Maybe if I had more time with it I could have worked out the bugs but...
I flipped and slammed the stem to get the front low. It felt awesome, so much so I thought "what if I raise the seat to get a better drop?". Well, I did and it was stupid. I should have gone slower. Dropping the bars 10mm and raising the seat 10mm was too much for my poor hamstrings. So for now, I'm putting the seat back down until I can get rid of my hamstring pull.
I don't know why I never thought of Tumblr for my builds, so I'm going to play catchup. This is one of the first big builds I had the pleasure of being involved with. This 2023 Roadglide 3 was the first one we got and before it even left the store we transformed it into this beauty.
Almost 7 years old and I still love this car. The thing is, it's getting harder to get it and crawl out of this thing. So I'm thinking a more old school approach. Get rid of the front lowering springs and fill the gap with bigger tires. Something with more sidewall and not so low profile. A rallyesque type of build.
I really need to get back to the track.
Not fully done but far enough along to make bike week in Daytona. 2019 Harley Davidson Softail Deluxe
I love this bike but interestingly enough, the more comfortable I try to make it the more after ride pain I get. I thought maybe my body would adjust but it just compounds. I guess it's time to try a more aggressive setup and see if it helps.
I gave up stats while riding. I still log, but don't look at it until I'm finished. For now, I'm done with the road bike and going to a converted mountain bike. It's's heavy, it's slow, it will go anywhere, and it's fun as hell to ride.
Now I'm riding like a kid. For the enjoyment and not chasing numbers. What a feeling
