Don't hate me yall but...my walking dead fixation is dying off. I feel no urge to draw them and lowkey struggling to write them.
IM STILL GONNA FINISH MY FICS
It's just gonna take a minute.
In other news, I have a few unposted twdg drafts that I'll post but once they're gone, I plan on posting some oc art, especially since it's bhm and most if not all my ocs are blk.

And not one time did Blender, Affinity, Topaz, PNet, or Photoshop crash and bluescreen my laptop! Huzzah!!11!!
So I've been listening to Nero's Day at Disneyland for like... five days straight because I'm nostalgic and specifically From Rotting Fantasylands. TLDR "In Aisles" is really fucking good and the Brecht owes me $50 bucks.
The fact 85% of this had to be done in post is what's killing me, I suck at trying to track and repaint shadows that I didn't already cast in Blender so it's either me dicking around with drop shadows or perspective warp. It's either that or render in Cycles and mama doesn't like rendering Cycles on an Intel i5 CPU from like 2019 so you get what you get here.
The FULL length of this render before slicing it was 45.3MB, and yes before you ask the other renders and their edits and their edited edits contribute to about 575MB all together. I grabbed a final render from a old scrapped version of this so thank god I didn't have to complete remake any renders from ground zero.
Carver is so underrated as an antagonist and it's a shame he took a bit of a nose dive writing wise towards the end of S2E3, he was so... good? E2 really set him up as a threat but he was pretty candied towards the end of his appearance. It's a shame we literally only knew him for 2 episodes out of a 5 episode season, 3 of which hyped him up as the big bad of the season. Ah well.
I still stand by the fact that Rebecca should've been the one to ultimately kill Carver by the end, not Kenny. Like that get-back was absolutely hers and just adds to the problem that Kenny stole the show of a season that really should've been focused on Clementine and these new people (who all ended up dying) but ykw lemme end this post.
it's crazy how people hate violet for "betraying" clem on the boat. first off, unlike louis, violet literally defends and votes for clem regardless of the player's choice. so it's understandable for her to be mad. secondly, she literally gets scared and threatened by lily. and even then, she apologizes to clem in the end
I was cleaning out my art, when I was reminded of an old oc, so I wanted to share her! Introducing Lunette "Luna" Mendoza! (Oh and her old gf, Jay is here too lol)
More info about her under the cut if you're interested. I tried to summarize it but this is like 10 years worth of lore lol
So basically, she started off as a self insert in the show Young Justice and her story and design was heavily inspired by amethyst from Steven universe/ the show in general. Her looks have changed so much throughout the years (she's 10 years old btw!) but her story had stayed relatively the same.
Naturally, she was an alien from a different planet that got adopted on earth. She's the character that's ridiculously strong but doesn't know it and once she does, she's afraid of that power and struggles to control it. So original, I know. Anyways, her powers stem from her emotions (like Raven or Scarlet witch) so she's extremely dangerous and her powers tend to hurt those she loves...
In order to save some hassle, I'll bullet point the major events in her story.
Luna, originally named Celeste, was born to Queen Galaxia and King Dre'Gon, the two of which are basically alien Romeo and Juliet. Two kinds shared a planet separated by alien racism. Galaxia is royal blood while Dre'Gon was not. Their union created an uproar and having a child sealed their fate. During the castle attack, Celeste was separated from her family and lost control of her emotions and powers, resulting in the accidental slaying of her father. Blinded by grieve, Galaxia sent her away. (More like threw her away. It was very traumatic)
Celeste crash landed on earth, losing pieces of her memory in the process, though some of it is repressed. she's found by a man who then experiments on her in order to weaponize and monetize her powers. During experimentation, he created a clone of her, Amir, and treated them as the golden child. Once he found out Amir wasn't perfect and their cells were still dying, he plotted to kill them. With Celeste in tow, Amir escaped, killing the man and burning his lab. (There's a lot I'm skipping over, like Amir's murderous thoughts against Celeste buttt) the two get separated during the escape.
Celeste is then found by Marisol, a single woman in her early forties, who longs for a family. Due to finding her under a full moon, Marisol names her Lunette or Luna, for short. Marisol nurses her back to health and they become a family for a while, but after suffering from a massive anxiety attack, Luna's powers get out of control, alerting the justice league.
Now in the Justice League's care, she was reunited with Amir, who'd been caught earlier. She stays in a supes proof facility while JL figured out her past and if it was safe to have her stay with Marisol. Eventually, they came to the conclusion that Luna was better off on earth, and that Marisol would be a good caretaker with the help of JL. The JL would monitor and train the kids' powers while Marisol parented them.
And that was more or less or childhood. There's so much other shit I didn't get into but maybe I'll touch on that later.
Introducing Cierra Jones, a new tenant of the Pink Palace along with her parents and new baby sibling. The move forces her to leave her beloved grandma behind, along with all her friends. The move and new baby give little time to spare for Cierra so she is short tempered due to the lack of attention. She's not excited about my move, but is curious about her new home. She explores it, and meets her new neighbor, Wybie before being called inside to continue her new sisterly responsibilities.
One day, while unpacking, Cierra finds a doll that looks eerily similar to herself. Believing it's a gift from her grandma, she's endeared by it and keeps it close by and away from the baby. Soon after settling in, Cierra finds the little door and questions it. A parent opens it to entertain her but it's closed off. Later that day, Cierra is enraged that her dragonfly necklace, a gift from her grandma, was broken by her freakishly strong baby sibling. Her parents, far too busy, neglect to fix it in a timely manner, furthering her disdain for the baby. That same night, a mouse disrupts her sleep and steals her necklace. She gives chase, and finds the door, is now a portal. She's hesitant but the curiosity gets the better of her judgement and she enters.
Remember when I had a funny idk that Clem was hired to take photos of the band but only got pics of Vi?Anyways I had two versions but I think I'm going to go with the left once I eventually go back and fit it.
This WIP is actually months old and never gonna get finished bc I don't like it anymore. Whomp whomp
If I had a nickel for every time I've fallen for a fictional white lesbian named Violet who's misunderstood and overly hated by their fandoms I'd have two nickels
For whoever did this confession and for whoever else has issue with my views, say it to my face, weak ass punk. My comments are always on, my dms are open.
Never thought I could make an ugly vi but here we are. Well she's not really ugly, she just has an expressive face (something I need to work on) and looks like if fucking Lestat de Lioncourt was a lesbian. Mini rant aside, here's some wips of outfits for Clem and vi in our vampire au. Really more of Clem cuz I didn't feel like drawing vi's suits
