Romantic or not, jjpope to me has the best dynamic and the writers would be stupid to let anything ruin it. These two love each other so much, the way it was showed was so beautiful, from big gestures, like JJ taking the fall for Pope knowing how bad the outcome gonna be for him and then Pope telling JJ that he gonna come clean that it was him not jj, also knowing the risk he’s taking. Sometimes it’s simply them enjoying each other’s company. Sometimes it’s Pope being patient and extra gentle with JJ, always checking on him and worry when he isn’t around. Sometimes it’s JJ looking at Pope to check if he’s smiling at his joke. Sometimes it’s Pope showing the hurt on his face at JJ leaving and showing JJ that he doesn’t want him to leave. Sometimes it’s JJ constantly trying to memorize Pope, caring about Pope’s future more than his own, the list goes on. They make each other better without draining themselves, it’s so natural. They ground each other and they’re a good team in every single way. And I hope the writers never let anything come in between whatever dynamic they decide to give jjpope, I really want it to stay strong through out the whole show.

Also the actors have the most natural and great chemistry and from watching interviews where they talk highly about each other, and knowing the scenes they improvised together you would know that these two enjoy jjpope dynamic and doing scenes with each other. So for us for them please don’t ruin the love the character have for each other!!

when JJ confesses his love at the end of season 2, Pope spends all of season 3 realizing he reciprocates JJ’s feelings, and they are a couple in the beginning of season 4

Imagine....if there is 4 seasons or whatever like clownas pate intended and each season gets better *honk honk* and better...all the shit we complain about the writers just throw out the window and everyone just pretends like it didn’t happen then start writing Good...pope/kie/jj narrating the next seasons and *shoes squeaking* have all of them coming out to eachother...writing meaningful character arcs that *beep beep* make this show move from barely tolerable to nuanced and groundbreaking over night
