Romantic or not, jjpope to me has the best dynamic and the writers would be stupid to let anything ruin it. These two love each other so much, the way it was showed was so beautiful, from big gestures, like JJ taking the fall for Pope knowing how bad the outcome gonna be for him and then Pope telling JJ that he gonna come clean that it was him not jj, also knowing the risk heās taking. Sometimes itās simply them enjoying each otherās company. Sometimes itās Pope being patient and extra gentle with JJ, always checking on him and worry when he isnāt around. Sometimes itās JJ looking at Pope to check if heās smiling at his joke. Sometimes itās Pope showing the hurt on his face at JJ leaving and showing JJ that he doesnāt want him to leave. Sometimes itās JJ constantly trying to memorize Pope, caring about Popeās future more than his own, the list goes on. They make each other better without draining themselves, itās so natural. They ground each other and theyāre a good team in every single way. And I hope the writers never let anything come in between whatever dynamic they decide to give jjpope, I really want it toĀ stay strong through out the whole show.
Also the actors have the most natural and great chemistry and from watching interviews where they talk highly about each other, and knowing the scenes they improvised together you would know that these two enjoy jjpope dynamic and doing scenes with each other. So for us for them please donāt ruin the love the character have for each other!!
