Salvation is as simple as this: Believe in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Simply believe that He came to earth as a man, died on the cross for our sins, and was resurrected on the third day. There are no other requirements to receive salvation – God made it this simple for us. That’s how deep His love is for us; He just wants us to be one with Him again – so He made it immensely easy for us – Just believe. As a father with children, if your child messes up or goes astray, won't you allow them to return if they come to you with earnest sincerity? Why, because you're a loving father who wants to see them succeed and not fall into harm's way. God our father, is no different. It doesn't matter what you've done. There isn't anything you can do to stop you from being able to return back to God, but you. Return at once, make things right, you'll be glad that you did. And like sobriety, you can't plan days, weeks, months or years done road, take this new journey, one day at a time. Focus on doing the right thing daily! Dear God, I am blown away when I think of the depths of Your love for me. Father, I know it wasn’t easy to see Your creation stray away from You. But You didn’t give up on us.
