It was a wonderful sense of being close to the sea with the risk of getting splashed by the waves. Moreover, it was fully visible even from the hotel on the cliff.

Day 1:

Departure from 京都 -> 西舞鶴, arriving around 10 pm in the cold and snow. Checked into the hotel and went out for a late-night meal at Yoshinoya.

Explored the surroundings and returned to the hotel for a relaxing hot spring, although there was no sauna available, I still got warming up my body in a relaxing hot spring at the hotel.
